Guest Brian M Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Who do you think will progress (either straight through or after a replay)? I've got a feeling it'll be Manure 1 v 2 Arse. Something which I think will be good for us, as Manure think they're untouchable at the moment. So while it's just a shame they both can't lose...I think Arse will edge a game that's sure to be a cracker. Liverfool v Arse in the quarters, anyone?!
ethicalstrategy Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Liverfool v Arse in the quarters, anyone?! That's a huge assumption there Brian. Do you really think that Liverpool can win at home to Barnsley?
bennyboy1976 Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Couldn't honestly give a to**, one of em is going out....
JT26CFC Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 man utd., ronaldo's scoring goals for fun right now so i think he'll score and most likely Tevez. 2-1 the final.

The Moos Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 I think ManU will win it but in big games like this you never know. Perhaps it'll be a draw after 90 minutes? And I'm not sure who I want to win either.
mad_mac Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 would like for them to draw the first leg, as that means adding one more game into their schedule. That would only benefit us. I think that the FA Cup is Wenger's only real chance of silverware this season, so I think that Arse will really push for it. However, I think Man U will progress
dkw Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 0-0 1st leg with 3 reds and 2 broken legs to fabregas and rolando. 0-0 2nd leg to penalties and 2 more broken legs to adebayor and vidic.
Valerie Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 0-0 1st leg with 3 reds and 2 broken legs to fabregas and rolando. 0-0 2nd leg to penalties and 2 more broken legs to adebayor and vidic. Sounds reasonable enough.
Alan Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 Arsenal were completely outclassed, and they showed yet again that they cannot lose gracefully. Gallas should have been sent off for kicking Nani and Eboue demonstrated what a total c*nt he is yet again. Anderson was Man U's best player yesterday I thought, he looks class.
Valerie Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 Manure 4-1 The Arse Did you watch a different match ?
bjd Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 Far be it from me to stick up for Gooners, but if i was an Arsenal fan who went up to Old Trafford yesterday i would be well pissed off. Arsenal didnt give two sh*ts about that match, and i thought were a disgrace. It had been a good day for the FA Cup and then that happened. And as for their petulance, well i thought it awful. If we had acted like that we wouldve been thrown out of all competitions today by the FA.
loz Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 Even more amusing was Wenger defending their petulance by saying that players don't like to be 'teased'
Gem Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 Can only hope this has the same affect as losing to us in the CC Final did... destroy their confidence for the next few months.

dkw Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 wenger didnt seem too concerned when his players showboat during games. remember henry and pires making c***s of themselves with that pen? wenger was laughing and joking about it in the interview after the game. and i see gallas did a fantastic job as captain again. shouting and moaning at everyone, even though he was at fault for 2 of the goals.
Englishman Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Surprise surprise, according to TalkSpite the ref on Saturday has reviewed Billy's petulant kick and seen no evidence of violent conduct.
Alan Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Words fail me when it comes to the incompetence of the FA. First two Arsenal players get away with fighting with each other on the pitch, and now Gallas goes and kicks out at an opponent and gets off punishment free.
Backbiter Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 The Gallas decision really does open up the FA to the charge of corruption. Gallas was guilty, no question. He should have been sent off, Both the kick and the head contact were deserving of dismissal. Any sane person could see that. And yet the ref not only misses the incident, he then reviews it and decides Gallas wasn't guilty of violent conduct. I've always known Arsenal are THE establishment team, who benefit from an absurdly favourable press ("the club that does things the right way" etc.) that ignores their shocking history of indiscipline and dissent down the years. Today's decision can only be explained by complete bias - they (the FA) actively support their bid for the title and are prepared to take astonishing decisions to avoid weakening their side in the run-in. When you consider the decisions that have gone against us in recent years - from the unprecedented ban on Essien to their refusal to overturn some very dodgy red cards - their favourable treatment of Arsenal stinks. Oh - and what was the decision taken on Carsley after his knee-high challenge on Hunt the other week? Haven't heard anything about that.
glory55 Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Arsen*l were really pathetic! They didn't even f**king turn up,and really it could a have been 8 or 9... ...what a disgrace! They should have shown the competion and their impressive 9,000 travelling 'toss pot' support, more respect! I cant take any real joy out of this one.....so f**k them both!
