It's not the wrong system, its the exact system he's perfect for. The problem has been the rest of the team being slow to adapt to that system. Jorginho is the metronome, he only works out if he can play quick passes to get moves started. If the other players aren't in the right positions at the right times, then he can't do that and has to pass sideways/back, because the system requires him to pass quickly. At Napoli if the opposition tried to mark him out the game, there were other players ready to compensate for that and keep the system working. This whole thing is going to take time, and we really need a full pre-season of practice to really capitalize on the progress they've made this year.
I know people moan and say there's no signs of improvement, but there have been signs it just hasn't been consistent.

Feel like I've just walked into the twilight zone.
He's been perfectly fine in my eyes, no real complaints from me at all. He was never gonna meet the £70m valuation in his first season.

“We need those clever movements in behind even though they are deep, you know, one of those diagonal balls over the top you see Barcelona do a lot. So we need to work on that, really.
“And it’s just about having patience as well, because it’s so frustrating at times when you’re trying to play through and they got bodies behind the ball, you know, there are ricochets and you can’t get that space to open them up. So I think we need to get used to it, because we’re playing well at times so teams are going to come here and do that, and away as well.”

I don't want to get in the middle of this, and I've quoted this post as a representative one of yours, rather than it's specific content (although it is a masterclass in self-contradiction "You're a complete idiot", "you're not the sharpest knife in the drawer.", "you're clearly very dim upstairs.", "Tried to be as respectful as possible"- think about that).
My opinion, expressed many times in this forum in the past, is that you nor I have ANY right to  expectations of the team or the manager over and above that they do their very best in the blue shirt.  We have no right to EXPECT anything from the club.  Season ticket holders and match-goers have more rights than those of us who watch on the telly or on streams, but basically, we are owed the very best performance on the pitch, by every player, every match, and nothing else. Anyone who says "the club owe me this" or "I need trophies and a place at the top  table"  needs to have a good look at themselves.  Snide-ish references to  "the working man" or "willing to accept mediocrity" are disingenuous and inaccurate.

I'm going to put my two pennies worth in, mainly on two points of this topic. The first one being keeping Conte is not much of a risk and the other being about Sarri and the no trophies thing.
Keeping Conte may look relatively risk free by comparison to other appointments on the face of it, but scratching the surface keeping him is probably the biggest risk we can take and all the evidence suggests it just simply isn't a risk worth taking. In Fact the arguments for keeping Conte and not appointing Sarri are alarmingly similar to the arguments that we should have kept Jose and not risked it with Conte.
How many times at Chelsea or any club has things stagnated like they have with us and it got better again? City gave Pellegrini a chance to rectify a miserable title defense and they got even worse. Milan started well under Allegri, gave him ample chance to turn things round when things went stale, but they got worse. I can't think of one example of a manager who was great at the start, but things stagnated then got better again and given the history of this situation, Conte's stubbornness with his tactics and his constant fallings out with players and board members, all the evidence points to us getting worse if we keep him, not better.
He has basically replicated Wengers spell at Arsenal in two years (and skipping the 4th place finishes), first season he revolutionised the club and changed the way English teams play and approach things (like Wenger did in his Highbury days) then this season he has got caught up and overtook, just simply didn't have another reaction up his sleeve and has been left trailing his wake but had an FA Cup to get him out of jail (just like Wenger of 2014 onwards). The reality is we will likely get worse if we keep Conte and we need to act before things seriously stagnate. I thank him for that amazing 16/17 season (it was genuinely up there with the back to back titles in terms of the sheer confidence i had in us) but the milk has gone stale.
If i saw some hope and encouragement that things would improve with Antonio in charge next season i'd be duty bound to give him a chance to turn it around, but i don't have any.
Now onto the point with Sarri, yes he is a risk but he is a calculated one. Also judging managers on previous silverware is a bit of a moot points these days considering the two most decorated managers available are Ancelotti and Wenger, one gets repeatedly fired at top clubs for the same flaws and the other well enough said.
He may have won nothing yet but he has shown he can get teams competing playing great football on a short budget. We aren't as brassic as Conte and some of his apologists try and make out but we certainly are not competing with the Manchester clubs in the market any time soon. Conte has made it abundantly clear he isn't having that, Sarri is a big believer in developing players, the same way we are trying to play down the ability of some of our players playing in a system of Sarri's, Napoli fans were laughing hysterically at the thought of Koulibaly being made into a composed ball playing CB back in 2015. Appointing ready made managers for a title or two worked for a while, but if were looking at competing in the long run, we need to get a style implemented for two key reasons.
    1. The high pressing, all energy attacking style is becoming the way to go in the modern game just like the solid shape and counter was in the 00's. Despite finishing second United are looking in serious trouble and with the famous Mou third season coming up and all other top 6 having progressive managers next season, would you bet against them falling back down to 6th? or worse if he hysterically has another 15/16.
    2. Our academy sides play the type of game Sarri does. At the minute the disconnection between the first team and the academy in terms of play style is alarming, someone like Sarri coming in and bridging that gap will surely help in terms of the best youngsters progressing to the first team. The Academy is the one thing we have over the clubs that are/can spend more money than us, and at some point we have to make it count.
Even if Sarri last for two years and wins nothing, there's every chance he could still be key in transitioning us into a wonderful new era and for me he is absolutely worth the gamble.

People disrespecting him are so stupid honestly, they have no idea what he's ever done for the club for starters. I went on youtube and watched some videos about Emenalo stepping down and all the top comments with hundreds of likes were Chelsea fans saying "Thank god" "About time" "Great decision I'm so happy"... Why are people so sure Emenalo was making bad decisions at this club? Either way, I think we've had some good years at the club and I'm sure he has been responsible for some success and some negatives.
What we can take is that since his appointment as director the youth department has significantly improved, the scouting has been tremendous, we have some great up and coming talent. I actually like our loaning system also, I think it's worked for a lot of players. We've made some tremendous signings since 2011, that was when he was promoted to technical director. Before then we were signing the likes of Shevchenko, Veron, Mutu, Torres, Crespo, Del Horno, Kezman, Boulahrouz, Shaun Wright Phillips... All for big fees during their time and absolute flops, I'm sure I can name more if I really think about it.
Since Emenalo has been in charge we haven't made ridiculous signings like that, who has flopped here really? Marko Marin was a pointless buy but he was a bargain, we signed Salah & Cuadrado who are actually good players but we never gave them the chance. Besides those signings, we've made careful and superb transfers.
We can only go by what we see, maybe Emenalo didn't purely make all those decisions, who knows, however since he has arrived we've been very short on squad depth which I believe has caught up with us this season and a few other seasons, I think we took a very long time transition from 2011 only to finally get the right team in 2014. Messing about trying to sign Modric only for him to go to Real Madrid, selling Daniel Sturridge when he was 10 times the striker Torres was at the time, selling KDB probably the worst decision we've made since Robben.
Other than that, I would give him a good rating, while keeping in mind I could be completely wrong.

With all the negativity online about him being incompetent and calling him names, i thought it was time to at the very least appreciate what he's done for the club and wish him the best of luck in the future. At the end of the day he was part of the club's successful years and our history, so at least deserves to be thanked for what he did no matter what our opinions were of him, positive or negative.

It probably will be. The last few years Nike have made the exact same 3rd kit for almost every team, just with minor differences when in comes to colours. An example is the template where the end of the sleeves were black.

I'm delighted he's signed, welcome to Chelsea, Álvaro!
On a side note, I have to laugh at United fans laughing at this transfer saying we're feeding off of their leftovers and how we desperately wanted Lukaku; the one time we'd actually want them to look at the forum and see the vast majority of people here most certainly did not want Lukaku!

And making up accusations, full of crap
When a couple of users, saw right through his disguise
Started calling out his obvious lies
    Got in one little fight,
    And his mum, you bet

And you base this on the fact that we only have confirmed 1 signing in the first week of the transfer window? If the club keeps up the rate of 1 signing pr week then we will have signed like 8 new players at the end of the window. And thats not counting the youth signings of course. People need to calm down. It's been one week, not one month.
Why we haven't confirmed Bakayoko or Rüdiger you ask. Maybe because the deals aren't finalized yet? Just because media claim that they are doesn't mean that the media is correct. I mean, if anything this Lukaku-saga proves that the media more often than not is trying to make qualified guesses.
