Think the club needs to dig in and just say no. If CHO still feels this way over the summer, so be it. But there is absolutely no way we should be selling 3 days from the close of the January window with no replacement lined up. Even if just for our needs this season, our squad starts looking very thin with 1-2 injuries. 
1st choice wingers: Hazard, Pedro
2nd choice wingers: Willian, CHO
1st choice mid-3: Jorginho, Kovacic, Kante
2nd choice mid-3: RLC, Barkley, Amapdu (?)
Any injury to any of the above, or loss of form, and we're starting to look too thin to be competing for FA Cup, Europa and PL 4th place. 
If we leave 10-20 million on the table and sell CHO this summer, then so be it. Would rather have a deeper squad and a better chance at getting CL qualification. 2 year without CL is a long time....

Met lawrenson at a wedding in December, he is actually seeing a friend of mines mum.

I don't know whether this is just about lack of playing time in the last month or 2.  We just signed another winger for big money and no doubt he sees that as a further obstacle to playing time. If Hazard stays then CHO would have to get in the team ahead of him or Pulusic, not to mention Willian and Pedro. That combined with what looks like blatant tapping up by Bayern has led to this decision I think. I would still reject the request at least until summer. We can still get decent money for him then and would have more time to find a replacement assuming he still wants to leave.

He's been with the club since he was 8. At 18 in his first year with the first team squad halfway through the season he hands in  a transfer request and insists on leaving. If that's not disrespectful, then what is?
 

He shouldn’t have signed a contract until 2020 if he didn’t want to stay until then. I’m not blaming him for wanting more game time, but an 18 year old trying to force a move when he has 18 months left on his contract stinks. Especially as he has just broken into the first team squad and getting more game time. Hopefully he stays professional when the club reject his transfer request and ask him to honour his contract.

Yeah I'mbit baffled by all this. For starters, he's an 18yo who is in his first season in the first team. Why is he demanding game time? Secondly, Why isn't there all this fury with City and Foden? He's hardly played either!

For a recently turned 18 year old to go against that and hand in a transfer request to his boyhood club that are desperate to keep him absolutely stinks! We should 100% reject his transfer request - Bayern can do one! I’m shocked that there are quite a few posters on here that seem fine with this news!? Yes I agree. I used to root for him, but now I'm fed up with the impatience and his management pressures and would rather he leave. I doubt he is solely behind wanting to leave. I imagine it's also family or friends pushing him to do so. There's a talented young player in Nicolas Pepe who plays in France.  he said he would like to play for Chelsea and he's a left footed wide attacker. I would rather take him over our own who don't want to play for us. Loftus-Cheek could have walked away a couple seasons ago but didn't, so that's the kind of player we want.

Furthermore I have no issues with Eden if he goes. He has been a great servant, he is not a Chelsea fan and has dreamed of playing for Real Madrid for a long while we hear. So if he goes AND nets us a profit then fair play to the lad.
 
CHO on the other hand is, if he has submitted this transfer request, an ungrateful brat who supposedly is a Chelsea fan and now he is starting to be involved in the the first team at just 18 years of age now supposedly wants to leave his boyhood club to go play in the German Scottish Premier league for their version of Celtic. 
Good riddance we dont need that kind of loyalty.

Well Dortmund have a policy of no longer selling to Bayern and Pulisic has made it known for a while that he wants to play in the PL. 

Well, at least have the comfort of being resigned to his departure for about a month now. 
 
Should be telling Bayern to cough up 50m at the very least, though. It's not like they're short of money.

The debut thing is important because it points to where CHO is in terms of realistic expectations. If he leaves we have no idea how things won’t roll out. 
The point very much is that save Rooney players aren’t playing on a regular basis at teams in England . 
CHO is being integrated into the first team he is developing and developing well and would get more and more exposure to senior football but if his expectation is that he would be a displacing Willian and or Pedro immediately is naive and yes I know that neither of them  are pulling up trees at this point in time both have far more experience and indeed knowledge of how to deal with big game situations.
Pogba is an interesting one and yes Man U paid big to get him back but wasn’t it José that bought him back and not Fergie? We will never know but I sort  of suspect that had Fergie still been the boss Pogba wouldn’t have returned to Utd.
Over the years there have been dozens of young players who were being heralded as the next big thing some make but the vast majority despite all the technical and physical skills fail to live up the expectations. We tend to remember the ones that make it but rarely quote those that don’t.
What’s interesting from a Chelsea perspective  is we know just how many of our promising young things fail miserably when the go out on loan and don’t have the protective blanket that many have had put around them at the academy. In the big wide world of professional football it’s  ruthless and very few are given time.
I along with everybody on here have no idea what’s going on behind the scenes at Chelsea nor indeed have we heard from the player but it’s pretty much eveident that CHO isnt signing a long term contract what happens from this point on will be fact but up to know it’s no more that paper talk but as I said earlier in the thread I am fed up with it all now
 
 

What playing time? He's 18 years old ffs, what has he accomplished to date to expect anything? I realize the club has done poorly when it comes to integrating youth into the first team over the years, but come on. CHO may be an outstanding talent if Bayern is after him, but he has no right to demand anything at this point. So he spends half a season in the first squad, gets a few chances here and there and now suddenly he can't wait anymore? f**k him.

In the RA era we have had 15 managers that includes the likes of Ray Wilkins and Steve Holland who were in charge for a couple of days each.In the last three years we have had two managers
Meanwhile in Munich they over the same period have had 13 mangers included in that number are 3 who were said to be caretaker managers . In the last 3 years including 1 caretaker they have had 4 mangers.
