I just feel our top 3 are far too inconsistant too win the league, we rely so much on them to perform and only under Guus Hiddink they have come out on top. Look at Malouda now, he's on form at the moment but what if his form goes again when we get a new manager in? I find it barmy that players play poor under different managers, surely the wage bill is enough motivation. I agree Anelka has been good for us this season but he hasen't been top class for us which is what we need, we need to be consistant to win the title and through this season our top 3 have been far from consistant. I dont want to put a damper on the thread it's just my opinion, like i said he's been good for us this season and all the congrats too him.

To be honest, im not against Ancelotti coming to us. I think he's a good manager and hopefully he is allowed too bring in some players to freshen up our squad and he can take advantage of some of the youth we have. It looks all but confirmed that he's going to be the new face of Chelsea and i hope the players don't go all Hiddink mad and respect Hiddinks decision and get to know and love Carlo like they do with Hiddink. Chelsea need to make sure that this does not turn into another Scolari situation and i truely believe Ancelotti can be a long term manager for us as he is still quite young.

Haha, well my excuse for this is Guus Hiddink! I admit i was in the wrong and i was judging our perfomances under Scolari . I still don't think he's the guy to lead our attacking line next season though. He won the golden boot yup, but he hasen't been consistant with the scoring. We still lack that Fernando Torres, Sheva of the early years, Henry of Arsenal years ago, Anelka is a good player yup but i still think we need better to win the league because Man Utd have such a strong squad in all area's. How many times have we all come on here after a match saying we were great but we lacked quality up top. However good job on the golden boot and congrats to him.

I think thats horrible, they should of extended the stripes to the sleeves and got rid of the trim around the end of the sleeves

What i think about Zlatan is he's a gifted player, extremely gifted in my opinion but he does nothing what so ever to show it. I would take an on form Zlatan, who gives 100 percent every game but i wouldn't take him the way he is now.

I expect quite a strong team to be honest, i only see him resting players at Sunderland on the 24 for the FA Cup final. I would like some youngsters to play like Stoch, Mancienne but we say it all the time we want them to play and they never do.

Can put this one to bed as he's signed for Juventus more or less ;)

I personally think the pairing of Eto'o and Drogba would be some what outstanding, no matter what happened after recent events Eto'o is still a quality player and every single barca player except for iniesta had a poor a game because we were defensivley so good. I think we need 3 players in this season. A winger, second striker and a playmaker/ballack replacement. When Ballack went screaming after the ref in the game i felt that sorry for him as he as a player has missed out on 2 of the biggest sporting trophies on many occassions, but for us as to progress as a club we need a younger player in and Van Der Vaart is the ideal cheap replacement in my opinion as it's pretty obvious Real Madrid will offload him. Im stubbled on the winger, i like the look of Zhirkov but i get that feeling of a Malouda but speaking of Malouda he is showing glimpses of his Lyon days which may keep him at the club. I want the Drogs to stay as i think he is a massive personality at our club even if he represents it in a bad or good way he's eventually loved. Anelka, Kalou, Ballack, Belletti, Malouda(maybe) for me should leave and i got a feeling Riccy Carvalho will jump ship too Serie A as we have Terry, Alex, Ivanovic and Mancienne. That's my thoughts on 2009-10 anyway and the most important thing, lets hope we get a hungry experienced manager... oh wait we have one! We Want The Guus!

Reading numerous posts now saying people want Man Utd to win? Sorry but barca didn't contribute in any of the crap that happened. It was all down to the ref and i hope Barca beat Man Utd.

Speechless.... ref saved them the game, simple as that. We defended against the best passing team in the world and the ref cost us numerous penalties. Don't blame the players, to be honest their dreams got taken away from them by a terrible ref.

Been wondering, who's on the dreaded one yellow away from missing a final suspension? Both teams that is.
