It's so long since we last played a league game coupled with a change of manager and so many new players it feels like the 1st game of the season.
Hopefully Charlie Boy doesn't bite the dust this week so we can actually get a game played.

England and Germany both showed similar problems to Chelsea, not enough energy, no way through packed defences, vulnerable to counter attacks.

Especially if they have to walk with no train...

1st of October f*cking hell, a long wait.

We will play no away league games in the whole of September.
Which means 3 of our next 4 league games are away. With 4 league games for October ending with Brighton away.
It might suit Potter to be away from home, same as it seemed to suit TT, last season we had the 3rd best away record, we did have the best away record for a long time last season.
If we struggle through October with favourable fixtures (on paper), because the following month November we play Arse, City and Newcastle, all in form before the break.
An away win to Palace will give Potter a much needed good start.
 

He just tweeted that he'd drop Jorginho, drop Pulisic, wont play Havertz as a striker, will kick Mount's arse and would make Ziyech train with the Celtic boys club.

I always try to go into a season feeling as positive as I can and I reckon Big Rom will make a massive difference to our attacking fortunes. 

Were pretty good at predicting our final position on this forum, so lets see what we come up with this season...

If the last 2 matches have shown us anything it is that it was not all down to kepa that we were conceding seeing as we conceded with Caballero in goal and its not like cabalero made  amazing saves. Hopefully Lampard can swallow his pride and start  kepa, Alonso and Giroud . Our main problem is a defensive unit problem and not any individual. Lampard missed a trick by not playing Kante as a pure defensive midfielder when we were conceding goals right left and centre but we dont have that option with Kante injured. We have to go for a back 3 and play a more counter attacking game instead of the current possesion game we play because we are absolutely clueless when we have all that possesion

Did well absolutely everywhere he went except with us, why I don’t know but, brilliant at Basil, at Roma, florentina and now at Liverpool, still doesn’t make me as bitter as KDB however.
