Drogba is a world class striker without a doubt, but with Anelka I have my doubts. If Lampard goes, are we really going to be able to rely on Anelka to score as many as Lampard does?

It's not bad, but I still think we need a new striker.

He is considered a winger nowadays but he originally came to us as a striker, so if we're completely dead striker-wise he can fill the role. Probably not successfully, but still...

I doubt a swap deal would happen because Robinho didn't like the fact he was going to be swapped for Ronaldo, but I could be wrong.

I'm getting the new black kit with Essien 5 ;) Then the home kit is going to be personalised :D Always the same every year for me :) But in fairness, Kalou doesn't look like he's going anywhere...could be a possibility.

I agree with Gem. He's quick, skillful and he's in another league to Malouda. But most of all, he's young. Only 22 so he's only just started to grow as a player. By the time he gets to about 25/26 (if we still have him) he'll be up there with the best in my opinion. My only worry is that he might not get as many games as he did under Avram. I hope he gets as much of a chance as anyone else. ;)

I've tried Robinho in attack and he's brilliant. :D

So, if we offer for VDV he might consider coming? But my only concern is that I think VDV and Deco are too similar players. I could be wrong, but that's my inpression.

Robinho & Arshavin pushing out wide to supply the striker with Deco coming in from the edge of the box, a la Frank Lampard. Striker will have to be tall, strong, fast and can finish, i.e. a younger Drogba. :D

Pretty decent to me, but I say we buy a new striker (Huntelaar? Villa?), with Didier as back up (if he stays that is).
