Can't really turn down £40m for a 4th choice CB! So who do people think our 4th centre back will be? Terry and Cahill seem to be nailed on 1st choice, Ivanovic will play a lot more in the centre I imagine. Kalas seems to be heading out on loan so that leaves Zouma unless we bring someone in?

Not really no. It's been nice to have a transitional season with an actual purpose. More than happy to take a few seasons without trophies if it looks like we're going in the right direction and seem to have a plan for the future which it now does. An imporovement of the same magnitude next season and we will be a top quality side.

Surprised at the amount of people who would be happy for Lamps to move on. A club legend who has been playing at the highest level for 10+ years and you just want to discard him? Other players can learn so much from him, I think people are underestimating his value to the club as a whole.

Terry will still be 1st choice next season barring injury.

I think we'll be nice and compact and try and nick a goal from a set piece or counter. If we get the first goal I could see us really digging our heels in and taking something from the game, if they get the first I'm a bit worried what will happen.

Hazard isn't going anywhere for a good few years, he's the main man now. I think we may start seeing him operate more centrally.

Very surprised this is actually happening, I thought we'd wait until the summer and let him go abroad. I'm as gutted as the next person that he's leaving but if we go out and get a top striker with the money then it's going to benefit the team, the real shame is that we had to give Juan to United and it could galvanise them somewhat.

I think Jose will let this drag on until the last day of the window but Mata will stay. It doesn't seem like Moyes has any other targets lined up (could easily be wrong) so he would yet again be seen as failing in the transfer market thus heaping more pressure on. However I do think Mata will be off in the summer, either to Atletico in some sort of exchange deal for Diego Costa or to PSG for £40 mil.

Leaves us with Ash and Dave for LB which should be fine for the remainder. I think this means we'll probably see him move on in the summer and us sign a new left back, hopefully Shaw.

I was all for the signing at the beginning of this season because he was a year younger but I think if we sign him in the summer we will get 2/3 good (possibly very good tbf) seasons out of him and then he's on the decline and we're stuck with a player on massive wages. If he was a year or 2 younger then he'd be perfect but I think we should be looking elsewhere - leave him unhappy at United. I still think he would be very productive for us but that we can do better without giving a rival £30m.

I've seen a bit about this today, apparently PSG is his boyhood team. Not sure how much truth there is in that though.

The little screen annoys me! I don't need to see a player sitting on the bench. Slightly off topic but did anyone see ITV's highlights programme last night? After every game they showed highlights of the goals...except from ours. Apparently a discussion about Ramires' dive was more important than the goals.

Great 2nd half performance, nice and clinical. Feels like things are really starting to click. Hazard superb again, his ability to keep possession when under pressure is the best I've seen. José saying post match that we will make a couple of "clinical" signings in the summer. Exciting times.

For me its the return of José. Simply because it gave me the biggest buzz out of all things Chelsea related, seems strange that my favourite moment wasn't something that happened on the pitch but there it is! Honorable mentions to Lamps breaking the record and Ivan's header against Benfica. Interested to hear what everyone else's is?

Being honest I thought Eto'o should have been sent off and also thought his challenge (not sure what else to call it) on Suarez should have been a penalty. JT on Suarez was never a pen. The one on Hazard was 50/50 really, he was looking for it but then Lucas was clumsy and could have had no arguments if it was given. Also why wasn't Lucas at least booked for shoving Oscar? Really happy all in all, is it just me or does everyone else enjoy beating Liverpool more than anyone else too?
