The problem is the manager at United and Spurs are in no danger of getting sacked. At Chelsea if you dont win you get sacked as we have seen in the past. To give these youngsters a lot of playing time at the expense of a proven international is a huge risk. If the board told AVB, dont worry too much about winning anything this season and maybe even next season BUT what we want is for you to build a new team with a few new players coming in and a few of the old ones shipped out and we want X amount of youth players blooded and ready for the 2013/2014 season.

Wouldnt Mata take his place in the team anyway. I think if we can offload Flo now then we should do.

I just hope that we dont mess around like the Robiniho deal and lose out. My worry is that is exactly what we are going to do. I dont know if things have changed but he said he was going back to spain to say his goodbyes etc. But maybe AVB had other ideas and wants him to train. If thats the case i wonder if AVB has him in mind for the norwich game.

I think it would be good for Josh to be loaned out to a team like Bolton for the season. I dont think he will get much game time at Chelsea this season, maybe some CL games and cup games but i cant see him making many if any starts in the prem. Before people on here say "do you have to lotto numbers as well?" this is just my opinion.

Its easy to say these three players out but you have to get someone to buy them. Unless the club let them go for nothing but then the club would have to buy out the rest of their contracts. I can see Kalou still here this season.

Let me ask you, at work if you dont do your job properly does someone tell you? If you are customer based does the customer have the chance to tell you that your service isnt good enough? In most work places your work/attitude can be praised or put down. How on earth do you let the players know that their performance wasnt good enough? How do you tell them to pull their socks up and put some effort into it? You can of course try and scream it but they are on the pitch and have 40,000 odd people around them, you voice will be lost. Now im not saying booing is the right thing to do but how else do you let these "employees" that they need to put more effort in at times?

Although i have never booed players off i can understand why people do. We pay our hard earned money for these millionaires to do something that we dream of doing and when you can see that they dont give a toss or have just given up then it is very annoying. I cant get upset with the team when we lose IF the players have played their hardest but when some players show no passion or effort i find it hard to tell people to stop booing or moaning.

To be honest both teams we have played so far have pretty much parked the bus. I was at the game on saturday and second half we was mostly playing in their half. I expect a better performance against Norwich on saturday. Up the Chels.

Josh took corners for the reserves and im pretty sure he took one or two last season for the first team. He is quite decent. Im not sure about Alex, One he might not be here much longer and two he only blasts them (usually into the wall or over the bar). Ashley has taken a few here and there. I wonder how Torres would do at taking free kicks or Pens, popping in a few pens might do him the world of good. Saying that the two games this season we should have had a pen in each game and not one of them was given.

Im still waiting for something big to happen. I feel like we are being strung along a bit. We keep hearing (through not fault of the club tbf) that a new bid for Modric will be sent in the "next couple of days" and that was about two weeks ago. Then there is talk of Mata coming. Why oh why do Chelsea just string out these transfers. Just go in a get the deal done if those are the players that you really want. I think we should be getting all new signings before the squad goes off for pre season, this would give the new boys time to gel and to get to know everyone. But Chelsea never do this, its always a big rush on deadline day. I wish i could say i feel better after that rant but i dont. Please hurry up Chelsea!

I think all that talk of van der Wiel coming in is over. I personally think that Unibrow and Ivanovic will play at right back this season.

I have a simular worry. I think Luiz is good already and after a season or two next to Terry he could become world class BUT i dont know why but i have a feeling that AVB doesnt fancy him very much. It will be interesting to see what happens when he is fit. I dont understand why Rameris got a run out against Rangers but Luiz didnt. I think the major thing that Luiz has going for him is he can play anywhere across the back line and could probably do a decent job in midfield to. He could become our new Belletti.
