That's why I have him sneaking up a bit from that holding position. Torres and Drogba should both be on the pitch. Give Torres the go on the wing. With his ability to cross and Drogs as our spearhead, I think we can get something from this. I have Cahill in there with the assumption that Luiz is out. Otherwise, Luiz over Cahill.

Football fans and the media, not that we credit the media for really knowing the laws of the game. I just read an article on ESPN by James Tyler talking about happened today. He questioned why Atkinson didn't go back to give Cech a card for the foul even though the goal was scored. He mentioned that anywhere else on the pitch that would have happened after the play ended. That's the thing he doesn't understand. When out on the pitch, usually the play ends and the end result is not a goal. Since the advantage was played and a goal was scored, a goal scoring opportunity was not denied. Cech also wasn't trying to hurt Adebayor, so that rule does not imply either. I believe that if Bale wasn't there to put the ball in the net, then Cech probably would have been sent off because that rule would have applied. I wouldn't root for either. However, if I were forced to root for either team because my life depended on it or something dire, it would have to be Liverpool. I will never cheer for the Spuds. Even if a Spuds win helps us in some way, I would just turn a blind eye and acknowledge that some entity helped us. In no way would I acknowledge that entity to be the Spuds. You get my drift.

Real is going to have their hands full with Bayern. I'm not so sure that Real will beat them over two legs.
