i'm not laughing...Hilario has signed a new deal
I agree that he has done a good job in most instances when he has been called upon. But I'd like to think that if we could retain Delac and play him in the Carling/ FA Cup (initial rounds) that would test him and give him the exposure that we expected him to get at Vitesse.

The New Kit!
Expectations have hit a rock bottom from Adidas, wonder what they're gonna make the 3rd kit look like.

Random Rumours
Yes lets bid 25 million each for Henderson and Young to ensure that we don't fall too far behind !!

Random Rumours
Nope given we don't have a manager yet, its obvious that we will enter the market a little late. Besides I am yet to see a signing that our competitors have made that would make us feel threatened.
-
Playstation Vita
Nope its highly likely that your facing the same issue that haunts most online gamers and its called cheating. The sort of cheats floating around these days is plain ridiculous and could turn out to be Fifa's undoing.
-
The Defence
His best performance for us has come when he has played as a leftback. Besides that's the position he plays most often for Russia, so its clear that he can play as a Leftback or Left midfield.

Playstation Vita
Whats more ironic is you pointing it out after paying 50$ a year to microsoft for using their online services. :P On a serious note its a steal considering the features (Wifi/ 3G) and the price is marginally higher than what the PSP GO was during its launch.

Players you forgot had ever played for us
Fabio Paim, Alexi Smertin and Juri Jarosick

Chelsea chase Hiddink (merged)
Its highly unlikely that would happen but if it does that would leave us in a precarious situation.

Playstation Vita
Sony Computer Entertainment president Kaz Hirai took the stage at Sony's E3 2011 press conference today to announce PlayStation Vita, the official name of the handheld. There will be two models of Vita: Wi-Fi Model: 24,980 Yen (including tax), $249 and euro 249 3G/Wi-Fi Model: 29,980 Yen (including tax), $299 and euro 299 Sony said the Vita will launch "in global market starting the end of 2011." http://psp.ign.com/articles/117/1173228p1.html

Youngsters
Its not a given that the sale of these 3 youngsters is an indication that we have lost "faith" in our youth and we're going to spend big in the market. Mancienne was an obvious candidate to leave and I'd like to think that Cork would soon join the list. Sala was never a world beater but whats baffling is someone like Tore was never given a chance to prove himself. What would be worrying is if we started selling the youngsters that are closer to first team i.e., Sturridge, Kakuta, Van Aanholt and Josh.

Chelsea chase Hiddink (merged)
Ended 1 - 1 FT. Now what?
-
reserves - whats the point
With the number of clubs in England I dont think that's a feasible idea and it would be unfair on the numerous clubs that are now a part of that league and would be replaced to accomodate the reserves side. Its a great setup in Spain but I have my reservations if it can be replicated in our current system.

The New Kit!
Apart from the one in white I don't think I'd buy any of the others to be honest.

The New Kit!
Don't recall a good away kit since we have switched to adidas but this one for sure has to be one of the worse for some time now.

Chelsea chase Hiddink (merged)
A lot of that is down to the teams that he has managed in terms of nations and most of them have not been continental giants. If you look at his record for some of the bigger clubs they look far more impressive - PSV 1987 - 90 Win% - 68.93 Valencia 1991 - 94 Win% - 46.49 Real Madrid 1998 - 99 Win% -55.88 PSV 2002 - 2006 Win% - 66.67 Chelsea Feb 2009 - May 2009 Win% - 71.43 As you'd see from the above stats his win% record has been on a rise after his stint at Real and he managed to almost take a PSV side to the CL finals. Maybe he has indeed got better as a manager after his time in Spain but a win % of 66% (average) over a span of two decades cannot be a flash in the pan. Compare that with Ancelotti and am sure Nibs you'll get what I am referring to. P.S: Even if Hiddink manages us for 5 years that would be considered as long term in the current scenario.

Sony attacked again!
This is getting really annoying now.
-
Jack Cork
I guess he'll move to Burnley since he has stated it earlier unless Swansea come up with a bid and Rodgers convinces him regular football. A summer transfer looks eminent though, that's one more youth prospect on his way out.
-
Mancienne
Agree to that and whats more frustrating is that we continue to keep squad players like Ferreira and Hilario who are definitely past their best and I am assuming we pay them pretty high wages too. For sure Mancienne and Cork could have been utilised last season (as squad players) when the squad looked thin but then again we loaned out all of them barring Josh. I honestly don't see any of the younger players apart from Josh making it to the first team. Its not that they aren't good enough its more about us not having the patience of giving them a run.

Scholes Retires
A good player, could have been better had he not missed the tackling drills. Moving on to a coaching role by the looks of it.
-
Last Movie You Watched
Watched No strings attached last night, pretty good performance by Portmand and Kutcher I must admit.
-
Fifa 12
True, it does make sense to skip the Fifa titles once a while since not every version has something new. For instance there were not too many difference between the 10 and 11 versions.

Big shout for Brendan
Very impressed by the way Rogers conducted himself after the game. Fact remains that he is a Reading lad and probably will always be given his past and you could see the respect for him even amongst the Reading players.
-
I have a cunning plan.
Agree to most of it and would like to add that we got Ramires as replacement and he has grown into a fine midfielder and should continue to be a regular feature in the coming season. Would Ballack have been handy and did we make a mistake? Well he managed just 14 starts all season for Leverkusen which is an indication that his fitness might not be at its best and given his wages he was a luxury which the club did not believe was worth.
-
Fabio Borini
Not to forget Rogers who has done a fabulous job at his short time in Swansea.
