I was very disapointed with the result yesterday. I think my high expectations going in added to the depression that ensued for most of Mothers Day. But to say that Carlo should go seems to be drastic to me. He has been here for two seasons, had a double the first and a complete meltdown in in the second and still challanged for the title this year. He deserves another year, but I am not going to be surprised if he goes in June. With that said, who would be better than Carlo? I know that there has to be the mass number of firings in a few weeks so there will be more candidates (jose?...jk), but none of the available candidates seem to scream FIRE CARLO AND HIRE ME.

Citeh's spending power will remain the same if they make CL, but would the top players suddenly want to be there with one successful season under their belt? It is still a cluster f*(k of players with no centralized ambition and with no Tevez next year as well. How many great players will they get in the end? I could be way off, but Spurs with 'Arry and Bale make me more nervous then Citeh.

Who would play better with Torres...Sturridge or Neymar? I would venture to say Sturridge has Prem experience and we know he can play well considering his time at Bolton. Our Brazillian friend could be a bust trying to adapt to the English game. The Brazillian league is much different than EPL. Don't take this as me saying I would not be happy if we got him, but it is another thing to think about.

I am so happy to see Ramires play the way he did. This is why they spent the money on him..he seems to have an un-ending battery. He was my MOM but hard to with Luiz out there. I feel Torres looked like he is really settling in and becoming part of the team...the little flicks and passes he did today were good to see. He does seem to be a split second late on his chances and the timing has just been a bit off.

I think you nailed it with that opinion. Today, Lamps could have passed it to him for an easy score, but decided to take the goal himself...nothing wrong with that, but it was glaring to me because I thought that he would have passed to Drogs if it were him. Anyone on here talking about his body language should look at tape of all the year at Liverpool. That is how he plays...that is ALWAYS how he has played. They talked about the same thing while at Liverpool all the time. He looks very loose and then turns it on with a snap of the fingers. He will come around and IMO I am not worried.

I can follow this logic all day long baby!! I am in Zola's camp today. I am very interested to hear what Carlo will be starting with and feel he will not leave Drogba out. I did not say I felt that was the correct decision, but I don't see that happening.

Well said rahul...This is the beauty of CFC. I am in Chicago, IL and would say I am a real fan. Watching every game and always cheering/crying afterwards. It is all about the word 'Loyalty' and if you are loyal, you rise and fall with the team emotionally. For everyone who spends their free time while at work or at home on this website, I would venture a guess we are all real fans. Its the little things like singing "Fer-Nan-Do Torres....DaDaDaDa, DaDa" in the shower for a week after we signed him or having your past weekend pretty much ruined after the stupid Toffes and their stupid penalties with their stupid faces...all 'real fans' seem to feel the same. Ask the person next to you if they know who you cheer for...most here will probably get the same answer. CAAAREFREE!!

A new look Chelsea does seem exciting, but it was always bound to happen. Teams on top go through change like that many times over and keep re-inventing themselves. I was expecting something of a clear out and will be looking foward to who they bring in. If they do sell up on some big names, will they only spend what they bring in? Probably not, but with the new FIFA rule, I was just wondering. Plus, I feel they need to hold on to Mikel and others if they are going with so many youth.

Carlo stated today that Drogba wills start along...but I am worried about having him and Torres play together and 'figure things out' while playing in CL. Luiz can play for us and I see him starting with Terry and Ivan playing right back for us. Ash will come up big as he always does in Europe, i think. Defense will be solid I predict, but I fear that we will not produce goals again.

Carlo told Terry to expect rotation now...not a sign that he is playing people based on names. Drog will sit and Torres up front in my book too.

He left on the free so it was not as if it was an Ashley Cole type situation. I don't think any fans feel he left our Blues worse off for the way he took off either, it ws agreed on both side he could go. I don't see many boo's if he does play.

Just heard a rumor that Aguero is going to Liverpool this summer for 38.5 million. He wanted to stay until the end of the season as Madrid are bad this year, but he likes Liverpool with Maxi being one of his mates. With that, I heard Young will be heading there too for 15 million...Villa didn't want to sell with threat of relegation, but both will happen in the summer. Bummed be out, but what has anyone else heard about this?
