  1. Had never heard of him before, crazy stats this season! https://www.whoscored.com/Players/239872/Show/Nicolas-Pepe
  2. Money doesn't come from shirt sales, that is correct. But the US is an rapidly growing market in football (or soccer) and since Chelsea is more and more run as an organization I would really understand the move. Also, Pulisic has a contract with Nike, and as Nike is an American company I could see that Pulisic + Chelsea + Nike could be a partnership that will be pushed in the US. That could grow Chelsea's fan base enormously because this is a rather unspoiled marketing area. In addition, he seems to have quality! However comparing him to Hazard at this moment is unfair, he's nowhere near him at this moment.
  3. Possibly one of the players I'd prefer most in todays market - imagine him costing ~£60m but Dembele ~£135m last year. He's a natural right winger, already has experience in one of the biggest leagues in Europe and the Champions League and is only 19. Could (and I think would) become a Chelsea star.
  4. Dream: Bale - Alex Sandro - Renato Sanchez Realistic: Ox No Deal: Drinkwater
  5. Interesting tweet from the official Chelsea account, "...geezer.."
  6. Of course his aim was to sign at a club in Europe, such as Liverpool and Chelsea and I would've liked to have him at Chelsea. The little I've seen from him seems like he offers another dimension than our current players. Shaktar had offers from Europe but declined, their asking price was outrageous and I understand that neither Chelsea nor Liverpool were ready to offer this kind of money. On the other hand, trash-talking Texeira for moving to China I thinks is ridiculous. He has stated before that he doesn't like living in Ukraine especially with all the crisis happening there lately. So being offered loads of money to move away from a place he doesn't like, I guess is really hard to decline. My guess is he'll be in Europe within two and a half years time.
  7. Scored two against Real Madrid yesterday, one from a penalty. He now has 3 in 5 in CL group stage this season. Did anyone see the match? How was he? Here his goal from open play: https://streamable.com/e34j
  8. I think Oscar has been superb today.. Great movement! He should've buried that chance though.
  9. Caughtoffside loves creating new rumours without any evidence, but I believe that this is exactly the player we need. He has also generally played really good against us.
  10. Can't wait for Ba in our line-up... Lost ALL patient with Fernando!
  11. I've liked the look of Romeu.. He actually has direct passing
  12. Everybody are talking about playing here with Belgian teammates, but none of those teammates could say really how great club Chelsea really is. * Lukaku must be frustrated not getting any playing time * DeBruyne and Courtois haven't been in Chelsea for a second. Though I hope he'll be here. He is hyped and seems like a burden to handle, but his record and attention must say a lot.
  13. John Chapman ? @BelgoFoot Note Kevin De Bruyne (in central midfield) involved in 12 of last 16 goals Genk have scored (10 assists, 2 goals) in last 8 games. #cfc If you'd like to get news about KDB you should follow this guy on twitter. A lot of valid news about KDB and the Belgium league in general.
  14. I think it was his knee actually, which looks really bad. But who was brought down the got us the penalty awarded ?
  15. Wow, I usually don't care at all about the classic youtube video that can show everyone being world class. But according to this video, his shot control seems fantastic!! And he uses bot his feet a lot, and if he learns to use it the right way, he could be deadly!
  16. As a fellow country man with Sigurðsson, I can tell you this guy has one of the best foot I've ever seen. His corners and free kicks are just amazing, and he is only 23 years old. He was Reading's best player before he left for Hoffenheim. At Hoffenheim he was voted the fans player of the year his first year, even though he didn't have guaranteed first team spot. 10 starts and 9 goals and two assists. Is he Chelsea quality? I doubt it, he needs more pace in my opinion. Here are two great goals he scored for Iceland u21 to qualify for the Euro u21: And here I am quoting the Guardian, while he was playing at Reading: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2010/mar/08/five-things-learned-football-weekend?INTCMP=SRCH
  17. He did that as well with us under Ancelotti and Hiddink.
  18. Don't think this will happen.. But it doesn't matter for them in our match up, he's cup tied!
