John Terry Retires from International Football
As I said its blurred out so I cant tell. And I cant find a non-blurred version so impossible to say.

John Terry Retires from International Football
Sometimes I really do despair at how much of a plank Ashley Cole is.

John Terry Retires from International Football
There's another camera angle that Sky Sports News have been showing from the front which to me could be more conclusive. Problem is that they blur out Terry's mouth and that I'v not been able to find this footage anywhere on the internet.

Jose Returning to England.
I don't think its that inconceivable that he may even return here. Don't get me wrong, I'd still expect him to be managing one of the Manchesters as I'm not convinced that Roman would want to admit to his prior mistake by resigning Jose. But by all accounts the two are on good terms again; Roman apparently even kept Essien aside for Jose as a personal favour. But then I suppose that might just be wishful conjecture on my part. Whatever the case, the likelier scenarios are that either RDM or Guardiola are managing us by the time Jose decides to call it quits at Madrid.

Following our nearest and dearest rivals
Dortmund were excellent and would have scored at least 3 on another day. They were a real joy to watch. It amazes me how poor City have been so far this season. They don't seem to be able to control games at all this year and their once watertight defence is a total shambles. I don't think they've kept a single clean sheet yet?

Ballack retires
Took me a while to warm to him because, early on, I felt that he never played at the same level for us that he did at Bayern where he literally ran the entire team. Nevertheless, he adapted really well to a different role with us, and he put in some great performances in some of the big games. For example, in the double winning season, both Essien and Mikel were injured in the run in so Ballack played as the defensive midfielder and so seamlessly. All in all I'll remember him fondly. I loved the passion he showed whenever he scored. Also, the few times he took a penalty for us you just knew he was going to score. Luckily, I even had the chance to meet him briefly and pose for a photo! Would love him to come back to us as a coach, though that seems unlikely.

Nordsjaelland v Chelsea (CL) 2/10/12 KO 19:45 BST
Robbie, sign him up! Good performance all in all, a win was an absolute must. Juve dropping points was a major plus too for us, although we need to be very wary of Shaktar. They were excellent tonight, dominating the game, and they created enough to win the game comfortably. As for us, many solid performances in defence and in midfield. Mata is fantastic and back to his best. Oscar was very good too, particularly in a defensive sense. We're fortunate to have a special talent like him, along with Mata and Hazard. I thought Moses looked a little tentative, but he should have had a goal IMO. Torres was ok at best. I'm sorry but he should have scored at least once and lost the ball a lot. However, to his credit, he persevered and was still significant in creating goals. All in all, very good night for us.

Everything that Mata's
Few players have come to us and had such an immense impact in the space of a year. Not only is Juan a key player but also a great ambassador for the club. One of the few footballers that puts Twitter/Social Media to good use and for the benefit of the club. I hope Juan is with us for the rest of his career. An incredible talent and seemingly a great bloke too.

No messing about with team selection for me. This game is a must win. Luiz picked up a knock I think so Cahill in, but other than that I don't see any other enforced changes. Perhaps Moses could start this one over Oscar but other than that I wouldn't change anything else.

Bloodzeed on Sopcast
He's a d*ckhead judging by his activity on Twitter but his streams are incredible. As Plokoon13 said his streams are the best I've ever seen.

Torres - The "Groundhog Day" Thread
To be honest I didn't see anything different from Torres yesterday. Great finish for the goal, and there was some good work off the ball. However, he lost the ball a lot and he should have buried that 1 on 1. I thought it was a typically inconsistent Torres performance.

Roberto Di Matteo
AVB being a tactical genius or whatever is nothing but a complete fallacy. In his short time with us we played a high defensive line practically every week which crippled us time after time. The whole world could see how detrimental it was to us yet AVB didn't alter it. What sort of tactician is that then? And what about the countless games where we were ahead only to throw it away because AVB again refused to adopt a more defensive approach?

Great job today RDM. Was very happy with the team selection, and though it pains me to say it, dropping Lamps for Rami has benefitted the team for sure. Although I don't think we played all that well offensively I liked our tactical setup today, resilient defence coupled with a quick counter attack. Good subs too.

Arsenal v Chelsea (PL) 29/09/12 KO 12:45 BST
SO happy after today. Not at our attacking best but defence was immense. JOM and Rami did a splendid job too in keeping Cazorla on the fringes of the game. I would have gladly taken a point today so a win is invaluable IMO. Great stuff, glad to see that despite the new emphasis on playing attractive football, we still possess the same steel that carried us through last year. Top of the league, having a laugh. GET IN THERE!!!

Well played JOM! Cazorla was anonymous, terrific job Mikel.

Arsenal v Chelsea (PL) 29/09/12 KO 12:45 BST
This will be a tight game I feel, with the odd goal in it. Arsenal are on good form at the moment and will be full of confidence after they came back from City with a point. I think our CL mentality will serve us best; Soak up the pressure and hit them on the counter-attack. I'd happily take a point now as I think we'll be under the kosh for extended periods of the game. However, there's no doubt we can hurt them. They do look more resilient this year for sure, but they still look susceptible against the counter and on set pieces. Mannone will be playing in only his 3rd start or something too. I'm looking for JT to bounce back from his legal troubles and lead a resilient performance from the defence. I presume Luiz will play, and tbh I'd probably go with him over Cahill. I'd like to see Ramires in the centre as one of our key counter-attacking weapons alongside Mikel. I'd have Hazard on the Left, Mata in the middle and I'd go for Moses on the right. He's been quite influential so far in the limited time he's had on the pitch, and combine that with the fact that he got his first goal in midweek and that his wife gave birth to his first son too, then surely he'll be fired up for this. I also remember him having a great game at the Emirates last year. Needless to say Torres up front, time for him to follow up his goal in midweek with a big performance.

Bloodzeed on Sopcast
Evening fellow Blues, Not sure if people here know about this stream, but there's a Spurs fan who streams everything shown live on SkySports and ESPN in HD through the programme Sopcast. The stream is called 'Bloodzeed', and you can find his Twitter page under that name too. His streams are always listed on wiziwig. The streams themselves are amazingly good. They run at about 2.2Mbps so you'll need a decent connection for it, but believe they are worthwhile. Most streams that come through browsers are no better than 500 kbps. Sopcast is a great little programme, and no there are no viruses. I've had it for about 5/6 years with no trouble whatsoever, and its now compatible for the Mac too. Enjoy the stream!

Fellaini
Fellaini would be an improvement on Lamps/Mikel to me, despite it not really being his most effective position. Having said that, if we were chasing the game late on then we could push Fellaini further forward as a targetman (which is essentially what he is at Everton nowadays in his AMC role). This is something which we currently don't have in the squad.

Platini pushing for winter World Cup
Quite frankly, Platini and his corrupt, plutocratic counterparts can go f*ck themselves as far as I'm concerned. Giving the WC to both Russia and Qatar in such illicit, clandestine fashion demonstrated pretty clearly to me how anti-England and downright bent FIFA and UEFA are. Its pretty sad really how corrupt they are and how they dont even try to hide it - Platini's proposal is more or less a means of trying to justify the disgrace that is the fact that Qatar have the WC. Also, it would be completely impractical for both the clubs and the national teams, and would severely disrupt the domestic league seasons across Europe. In fact I'd go as far as to say it would pretty much ruin the season.

Luiz signs new 5yr deal
Great news. Barca can f*ck off then. Luiz has been playing a lot more consistently under RDM than he did before. I genuinely believe that, if he can mature and add more discipline/concentration to his game, then not only could we have a future captain but also potentially one of the best defenders in Europe.

Chelsea v Stoke (PL) 22/09/12 KO 15:00 BST
Not sure if many noticed but I thought Mata look rejuvenated and more like his old self. Some great touches, notably on the goal. Also Moses provided a spark off the bench, and the defence all in and the DM's were excellent. A tough game and whilst our play might have been a bit turgid at times, Il take any win over Stoke. Winning ugly is a priceless quality for any team to have. Very good game for us all in all. Also, Sideshow Luiz is one lucky boy! Judging by his reaction after the tackle I think he knew it.

MOTM vs Stoke
Torres was poor. He was nowhere most of the time. The point is that, even if he doesn't score, he should at least still be a threat to the opposition's defence. However he simply isn't because its as though he's not even there half the time. In general I thought it was a very tough game, as expected. Stoke are always a resilient team to break down. Mikel played well, as did the defence. Looks as though its going to take time for all our creative players to gel but when they do...look out! Also Moses was very good off the bench IMO. MOTM? Mata, looked like his usual self. That assist for the goal was brilliant. I didn't think he meant it at the time but I saw it again on Goals on Sunday and it looked as though he did intend it.

John Obi Mikel Appreciation Thread
I criticised Mikel relentlessly yesterday for what was a piss poor performance, but this is just too much. I credit Mikel greatly for coming out and apologising in the press yesterday, nice to see. I don't blame him for closing his twitter account at all. Why is it that our club has this sub-section of complete and utter scum who have to give the rest of us a bad name?

Torres - The "Groundhog Day" Thread
It's funy how all the Torres apologists are saying that "2 bad games and everyone's going nuts again". 2 bad games? How about the best part of 2 poor, underwhelming seasons? How many times have we seen Torres go on a little flurry of goalscoring for 2/3 games only to disappoint us once again? I can't wait to hear what the next excuse is.
