99 red balloons (well 1 but its funny)

Featured Replies

Holy hell, after I couldnt get much more depressed, cue Darren Bent and the Dippers to send me into fits of laughter.

The fact that one of their own fans threw it too.......couldnt really diagram it any better. And a great performance from Sunderland, FULLY DESERVED all three points.

Liverpool now 5 wins and 4 losses. I hope the owners dont have the balls to fire Benitez

Thers good footage of the scummy who through gthe balloon onto the pitch going about - his social worker would be so proud

Beach Set

I love this comment on there 'Nice to see the ball hasn't thrown in the towel after a mediocre performance. Took it's shot well and then did very little else all game.'

The comments are great and its already sold out! I'll bet quite a few of those balloons will be seen on the pitch at Old Trafford next week.

match of the day blocked out the kid's/guy's face who threw the ball...bet his mates know...must have got lynched on way home...what a tool

and yet the the beacon of intelligence that is the sun not only published his face but offered a reward for information as to who he is, so that they can have an interview. I hope they pay him enough to hire some private security

The rumour doing the rounds is that it was Michael Shields who threw the beach-ball onto the pitch. His mate (name unknown) has owned up and said it wasn't Michael, it was him, and Michael was off buying some chips somewhere.

An official FA hearing suspects that his mate threw another beach ball onto a different pitch. The FA have been looking for other Premiership football game in the North East over the weekend, but have been unsuccessful. Their report concluded that Michael Shields is innocent of throwing the beach ball that murdered Liverpool's premier league ambitions for another year, although they will not continue to look for the perpetrator who owned up to it, because he's not 100% sure if he was there or not, now Michael has been excused of any blame.

Jack Straw was unavailable for comment, although after meeting the boys family one of his aides was reported to say 'Michael was a sound lad' and 'err, well, it weren't 'im, Like'

Liverpool have launched their own investigation into the murder of their title ambitions and are looking for a plump Spanish man, dressed as a waiter, who answers to the name of Rafa.

How long before the Scousers start blaming the beachball goal on South Yorkshire Police, Sheffield Wednesday and The Sun newspaper?

There is already a 'justice for the beach ball' campaign planned

I heard that Liverpool were wanting to play the game again, seriously. However i think the FA have finally seen sense and told them to behave. I also understand that the ref has been banned from officiating any of next weeks games
