May 25, 201115 yr Faith No More. Jeez I'd forgotten how good they were/are! They are/were very good. They've been one of my all time favorites since I was 14-15 years old. I don't listen to them as much as I used to, but I find myself going back to Angel Dust and King For a Day... --- As for what I'm listening to right at this moment... Black Lips have put their entire new album on Grooveshark and that's what I'm grooving on: http://grooveshark.com/#/theme/arabiamountain/225 Sounds good.

May 25, 201115 yr Midlife crisis. It's a greatest hits comp. I had three of there albums on tape and never got round to bringing it up to date till I saw this album.
May 25, 201115 yr They were quality! So different to everything else! Even 'The Real Thing' Album seemed so ahead of its time.
May 26, 201115 yr They were quality! So different to everything else! Even 'The Real Thing' Album seemed so ahead of its time. Id agree with that. The Real Thing (easily their best album imo) along with Janes Addiction 'Ritual De La Habitual' were two massively important albums for me as they opened up alternative music to me and led me on a route i still travel today!

The Real Thing (easily their best album imo) along with Janes Addiction 'Ritual De La Habitual' were two massively important albums for me as they opened up alternative music to me and led me on a route i still travel today! Those two albums are important to me for pretty much the same reasons, but I don't think "The Real Thing" has aged as well as "Angel Dust" and "King For a Day...". It's still a good album and I don't think there's an album out there that quite sounds like it, although I'm sure many artists/bands have been influenced by it, but some of the stuff on it sounds a bit dated now that I listen to it.
May 27, 201115 yr Just found these guys, in love with them: http://tmtmwrk.com/downloads/ Team Teamwork, they take rap songs and mash them up with songs from video games I grew up with, including entire albums devoted to Ocarina of Time and Final Fantasy VII songs. Love the concept, even if some of the songs don't work out quite as well as you'd hope.
May 28, 201115 yr Heard this for the first time on "My Name Is Earl", did a search using the lyrics and eventually found it - love this song!
May 29, 201115 yr Ok, the song isn't very good, but the video is quite interesting: WARNING! Includes cartoon style violence. http://vimeo.com/24175601 I doubt kids would play games like that if they really imagined it all in such "graphic" detail.
