It always brings me back to 7th grade, where a substitute teacher just kept playing that record during our one hour class, and told us to figure out the lyrics. The class got all the lyrics until the end, when no one could figure out the last line was not "Peace Train" but rather was "Please Train". Strang how some things always stick with you over the years.

Earthly things are transitory and patching them to make them last longer only delays the inevitable and draws out the pain.

Just played a 'best of' cd which to be honest, I found down the back of the t.v.cabinet,(feck knows how long it's been there or who bought it!).

It was the best of Depeche Mode,(who remembers them?) but apart from being local, (from Basildon) I didn't think they survived the eighties to be honest.

'Enjoy the silence' & 'see you' I remember but that's about it,(I would post a link but I've honestly no idea how to) .

Now,where's that Prefab Sprout 'best of' album?, (don't no if I should bother, it's probably sh*t anyhow).
