Might sound crazy, but he is only 26, and would be the natural replacement for Drogba. At the right price maybe?

I've got me coat, and I'm looking for my hard hat...

He's not played much since hes been at City and although hes a complete tosser! If we could get him for around 10m I'd say he'd be worth it, he's always scored goals. I'll get my hard hat too, just incase :beg:

Dont see this happening on a couple of counts -

1) Wont be our # 1 choice striker and I dont see him making a move to a club to continue to play 2nd/ 3rd choice striker.

2) Wages will be a huge issue and given our cost cutting measures I dont see us bringing him.

3) Probably the most quoted reason when people talk about him and its his attitude. Our squad is built around the grit and determination of the likes of JT/ Lampard/ Essien/ Drogba and Ivanovic. I just dont see him as a part of the bunch.

Grit and determination are not things that I think of when it comes to Drogba . . . The others that you mention, certainly.

Apparrently Jose wants him on loan in Madrid. Thats the talk anyway. City wont be giving him to anyone in the top half of the table I'm sure.

Just seen Klose might be signing for Madrid on loan, think that will put the kyiosh on Adebayor`s move.

Wow, even more from left field that one! At least if Adebayor turns out to be a great pickup for them, he has some years ahead and can be bought. Klose would be a true stopgap at his age, but maybe thats what they want since Higuain will be back eventually.

Adebayor is a numbnuts, but i would still sign him if possible because he can dominate a six yard line, but he, and high cost players like him will soon be dinosaurs.

Adebayor might be a good player, but if he comes here he will be behind Malouda, Drogba and Anelka and as soon as he's not picked for the starting eleven he'll throw a tantrum.

He needs to be the star, otherwise he wont do well.

Before he went to City I didnt mind him. He had one good season at Arsenal and I thought he wasnt bad as a backup. Never thought he would be number 1 but thought he was alright.

But maybe thats all he had, one good season and thats it. Seems a bit of an ar*ehole demanding moves he wants etc so rather leave him alone

He is when he wants to

Real Madrid have been linked to Adebayor in the past but appear to have lost interest in him. I don't want him at the Bridge.

Spurs or Liverpool are welcome to him. But I doubt Mancini would let him go to either of them.
