Some very good performances by a fair few today. Yup Drogba just edges for me as well.

My vote is for Diddyav Malaria...far too early to give up on the legend, he could be as good next season as he was last if he uses the preseason wisely, might even see him and the young pretender form some sort of partnership.

Drogba, but thought Kalou & Cole had very good games also. Frank looked like he has a bit more energy to his game too

I voted Mikel, for his solid control of the midfield, and his excellent long diagonal passes to A. Cole or F. Malouda.

The goal Drogba scored was on a lucky deflected ball to him, and it would have been a really bad miss if he did not score then. I think Lamps would be my second choice, followed by Drogba.
