So anyway, moving on from the last game. What do you reckon the starting line up will be for this?

I'd like to see a few fringe players given a go from the start, eg: Josh, Bertrand, Torres, Benayoun.

But I have a feeling Carlo will just stick with the same 11 anyway.

Cant see there being big changes or any fringe players starting. Not until we secure second anyway (the difference between 2nd and 3rd is around 500k), im sure Carlo will have been 'informed' of this.

Maybe Torres for Drogba and Ramires for Mikel or Essien, but thats about it. Also i guess it will be interesting to see what Carlo does with Luiz.

Last home game of the season and im pretty sure there will be at least three players play some part in the game we wont see in blue at Stamford Bridge again.

Perhaps our final home game with Carlo in charge too. Who knows ?

bench kalou and drogba they were soo dissapointing against utd. Wouldnt mind seeign alex and luiz at the back, shame we dont call sturridge and kakuta back to give them some playing time. torres and benny to start for me. GIVE ESSIEN AND LAMPS THE MUCH NEEDED REST

I think one player that desperately needs a rest is Ashley Cole. He's played pretty much every minute of every game this season, and in all fairness has played well in most games. But with 2 games to go and not much left to play for, I think Bertrand should be given the 90 minutes in each to see if he's up to the Premier League.

Give the youth a chance to play, let them go out and grab the 3 points that will confirm our second place this season, give them something to fight for, if Fergy can do it in a CL semi-final, so can we now we have next to nothing to play for.

We can't risk anything in this game since we're still fighting for the 2nd position. I would hate to see us lose that to Arsenal just because we failed to win the league.

So let's not put in a reserve team against Newcastle.

Having said that, there are a few players from last game that really don't deserve to play in this one.

Would love to see some of our fringe players get a pop like some have said.

Paulo ----- Luiz ------- JT ------ Bertrand

------------------- Mikel -----------------------

--------Ramires ---------- Lampard --------

Anelka --------- Torres ------- Benayoun

Bran got give the run around on Sunday so a day's rest after being involved in most of our games this season, same with Ash.

On paper that team should beat Newcastle, I'd like to see McEachran at some point but don't think it'll happen with other big names on the bench.

2-0 win and secure 2nd place.

I'd like to see our team for next season shaping up..

--------------Cech----------------

--Ivan- Luiz---JT-----Cole----

-------------------------------------

--------------Mikel-----------------

Ramires----Josh-------Zhirkov

-------------------------------------

--------Torres-Drogba----------

Shame the likes of Sturridge, Borini and Kakuta aren't available, but I would go for:

--------------Cech----------------

--Ivan- Luiz---JT------Bertrand

Essien..........Lampard...........Ramires

------Josh-----------Benayoun---------

--------Torres----------

Looks like the Spuds are done and dusted so City will be chasing Arsenal, technically they could overtake us if they get the 9 points from their remaining games and we get zero. City would have to lose every game and Liverpool win their last two to finish 4th....two hopes there...Bob and No. The team needs to win to give the fans a good send off and hopefully the crowd will throw their full support behind Carlo, a few balls in the net from Torres would be a good finish also and a springboard into pre-season. Leave the ego stars on the bench for this one and have a good mix of young and old, win this and send a reserve team to Everton for a run out, by that time the last game will mean nothing anyway other than a training exercise and no one is going to want to get hurt.

If my maths is right, 4 points will secure the runner up spot, and even 3 may do it with our goal advantage. If common sense prevails, Carlo really should give the non starters a chance to prove their worth, and give the non performers a kick in the backside. If I had my way:

Cech

Boswinga Alex JT Betrand

Yossi McFaran Rameries

Anelka Torress Zhirkov

Even with the team like this and the bench, we should win comfortably.

I'm open to this but do you really think Carlo is? I just don't see Carlo deviating that much from his norm especially with the last home game. I wouldn't be surprised to see the same Manchester United lineup with Torres, Benny, and ?? coming on for 10-15 minutes.

-------------Cech-------------

Ivan--Terry--Luiz---Cole

-----------Essien----------

Ramires-----------Lampard

-----------Yossi------------

---Drogba------Torres---

Or a front three of Yossi, Torres, and Zhirkov.

Alex has to start this one. He was absolutely immense on Sunday, looks back to match sharpness. If he can keep Utd out for 45, I'm 99% sure he can keep Newcastle out for 90.

-------------------------Cech

--Bosingwa----Alex-----------JT------Bertrand

------------------------Mikel

----------Ramires-------------Yossi

--Anelka------------------------------Zhirkov

----------------------Torres

Josh, Lamps to get 30 minutes each.

I'd like to see that side RBJ, and possibly Josh in the holding role instead of Mikel... it'd be nice to see him get a couple of starts in the last two, because next season I predict he'll get more than a few; either on loan, or with us. Possibly with Bolton, as Coyle likes bringing talented youngsters through.

Is this a 'spot 5 errors' question? Think I got em..:5569:

Maybe now we can give a game to Josh? I am not sure. Maybe Carlo will start his preparation for the next season by playing Drogba, Kalou and Torres with Essien, Mikel and Lampard in the midfield.

I ' m worried we will have to see this line up !
