Hi Mate,

I used to hang around with the Stockwell lads. I don't think you're right about this incident because I was with a couple of them that day.

I don't know if you know about the ruck they had at St James's Park Underground and what happened ,   it added to their noteriety, I was with the guy involved in that incident at the Leeds game . 

See them at funerals these days, almost the whole mob ! Unfortunately, 1 passed away about 10 years ago, another 2 years ago and one last year.

Stockwell was a tough manor. Went to college with a few lads from that way early 80s. Rule of thumb, white lads were mostly CFC, black lads Arsenal. Around that time Arsenal had a little firm  of black lads from Walworth.

Most of the Stockwell mob lived around Brixton , Stockwell and Loughborough Junction. , the sort of leaders went to Stockwell Manor School. 

I went to Brixton College, we had lads from leafy Kent there who couldn't believe how different inner London was to where they lived. I lived on Loughborough Council Estate, it was actually ok there at the time, don't think it is now !
