Mickey Thomas had an interesting life away from football.

Seems to recall something about dodgy bank notes ?

LOL those were the days, when Webb would occasionally have to take the green jersey off Bonetti when he got injured!

Wembley 1970, the 90 minutes are up and Dave Sexton (standing left), Alan Birchenall (centre, leaning forward) and Ron Suart (right, leaning forward) rally the troops for the next 30 minutes.  Quick suck on a segment of an orange, a chorus of “we all ****ing hate Leeds” and off we go!

Wembley 1970, late in the match players on both sides were going down with cramp, Ossie seen here easing cramp for Terry Cooper of Leeds, or perhaps he is trying snap his foot off?

Good times.

No idea why he wants to go and manage in Turkey in 2024.

International gig or media work surely a better option than that LOL. Personally I'd just retire and pursue hobbies and spend time with friends and family if I was him. He surely has more than enough money by now !

I just think he loves the art of coaching too much with the adrenaline and excitement that comes with it.

He doesn't have anything to prove anymore in my mind.

Thanks mate - happy days, I was 11 then!  All the best to you.

The caption with this one suggests that it shows some of our mob getting stuck in at Burndon Park v Bolton in 83.  Whether it is before or after Flash Walker’s screamer is not clear.  Can anyone clarify?

Looks like before the rain! Pissing down when Flash scored. I was on a floodlight pylon on the terrace in the corner. Our lot in the seats behind the paddock were singing “If we lose  we’ll wreck your ground, Bolton Bolton” They turned and gave it Ahhhhhhhhhh!!! Then the seats and coins started raining down!! Quite true. Feel a bit sorry for foreign managers learning English. Difficult ballgame learning through language tutors then having to decipher the likes of geordie, scouse, Northern Ireland accents etc
