November 21, 201411 yr One of my favourite games has always been Age of Empires The Rise of Rome (1998). Played it online till recently. The graphics left a lot to be desired as you can see, but it was a great game, so it didn't matter. Edited November 21, 201411 yr by RichardCFC
November 21, 201411 yr How you liking UFC Uno? I played WWE2k15 on my brothers Xboxone last night and it plays very well and visually is pretty damn impressive. He got the one with Sting DLC free but says the season pass is a fortune (to get all the DLC wrestlers)! I havent played UFC loads. I skipped part of the training and got abuse from Danna White which made me laugh and then I started making my fighter. Thats as far as I got really. I am still tempted to buy 2k15 but for a game that has been slammed by every review I dont want to spend 50 quid on it. Did you try the story mode? Thats the thing that interests me the most.

I think RFC_CFC just meant if you buy a next-gen console for £400 you're going to expect a certain level of graphics though. Yeah I did mate. Obviously if it's JUST visuals that matter then a gaming PC is the machine of choice. I do a lot of travelling back and forth to up North so easier for me to take a console than a tower lol!

I saw a few decent reviews on Metro and I think digitalspy, make sure it’s next gen reviews though as sometimes it brings up the ps3/360 ones which are terrible reviews! No I never tried it myself but my brother was doing one when I was over to see him, something to do with NXT or something. It looked decent enough from what I saw…his created wrestler looked really good for a creation! I’ve read about it but the main gripe seems to be there is loads of pointless match ‘fillers’ and no voice to your wrestler so loads of text…if that doesn’t really bother you then I’d say you might enjoy it. The reviews tend to be saying they would rather just play the important matches and skip all the other stuff but if you are a patient gamer and don’t mind tons of matches ect then it might be ok? I’d say it’s up there with NBA2K as the best looking sports game so far, the gameplay is really different to the previous wrestling games too…it’s much slower and you see them tiring as the match goes on which is realistic to the real sport.
November 21, 201411 yr Enjoying Far Cry 4, not done much of the campaign so far as I'm enjoying have an explore and doing random side missions. I like that you can play stealthily or all guns blazing but you can do OTT things like blowing up the wildlife with C4.
November 21, 201411 yr I don't think you've ever played AoM. I played it like 13 years ago, or whenever it was out.
November 22, 201411 yr As an overall though I find user ratings better. If there were 10 critics who gave an average 8/10, and 100 users with an average 3/10, which would you trust more? Critics are often paid to write specific things. Cause that's a fair scenario.

I like that you can play stealthily or all guns blazing but you can do OTT things like blowing up the wildlife with C4. Getting this today. I'm trading in Destiny (initially amazing but then you realise it's an unfinished game and a grind) and Watch Dogs, which is surplus to requirements now I have the new GTA V. Shadow of Mordor was really good fun but offers little re-play value so that's going to. So hopefully Far Cry 4 will only set me back about £10-15.
November 22, 201411 yr Inquisition Progress Update. I think I'm on Act II now. 40 hours played so far and the story is just getting started. Met my DA2 character and doing a mission with him at the moment which is an awesome touch. 9.5/10.
November 23, 201411 yr So reluctant to buy Inquisition/Far Cry 4 on my 360 in case Santa brings me an Xbone for Christmas.
November 24, 201411 yr It doesn't directly import saved, it takes the decisions you made from the bioware servers. The keep site lets you see those decisions and alter them if you want. So if you decided to kill someone important in origins you can change it so he lived and it will make a difference in the inquisition game, I think. I managed to sync my saves to the EA servers. As I see all it does is letting me use the old hero names and pictures, I had to set/finetune most of my decisions in the Keep. Anyway, now I'm ready for my private release day on Friday (=payday :D).
November 24, 201411 yr So reluctant to buy Inquisition/Far Cry 4 on my 360 in case Santa brings me an Xbone for Christmas. I'm the same. There are several games I want on the 360 but I don't want to waste my money if I got a next-gen console soon.
November 24, 201411 yr My next 3 games that I'll buy is: - Far Cry 3 - AC Unity - Little Big Planet I'll trade in Fifa and Sniper 3. Should keep ne going for a bit!

November 24, 201411 yr Daylight, a first person Zombie game comes out in January. That looks interesting, shame its first person but a blook soaked Zombie game is always fun.
