November 14, 201411 yr Shocking that a game that a game is released (after a delay) and is essentially broken. I've decided not to buy it following the bad reviews and feedback and I dare say there is going to be a lot of people trading the game in pretty quickly after buying it too.
November 14, 201411 yr Dragon age inquisition is excellent, much more open world than the previous 2. Loving the strategy combat too, only had 2 or 3 hours so far but very impressed.

I thought they tested games before they released them? The mind boggles. I'm still going to get it, but probably not till after Xmas. Hopefully then they'll have patched all the bugs.

How have you played it already, I didn't think it was released until the 21st? The guy who reviewed it on IGN said he's put in 90 hours and still not finished everything, I'm going to be getting it for the wife to keep her quiet whilst I play Lego Batman 3.

Early 6 hours gameplay on EA Access on Xbox, ner ner ne ner ner.....I barely got through the prologue in about 2 hours. It looks massive.
November 14, 201411 yr This sounds like an epic fail http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-30040613 That's what happens when marketing people call the shots, it's like that in a lot of companies unfortunately. The technical/creative types who actually do the work are just seen as a hindrance. Not that I'm bitter or anything, oh no... The screenshot with the caption "One video posted online shows a character inexplicably trapped in a fireplace" made me laugh.
November 14, 201411 yr Total Club Manager 2004 was the best football managing game ever. Surely that's a typo and you meant CM01/02...

If your getting Dragon age have a look at the Dragon age keep website, you can download all your data from any of the previous games and make any storyline changes you want.

I checked it out and see no way to import saves from the previous games. From their FAQ: Will we be able to direct import saves into the Keep? Unfortunately we won’t be able to directly import saves. However, over 300 choices are accounted for in the Keep, so you’ll be able to recreate your Dragon Age universe down to the details.
November 14, 201411 yr It doesn't directly import saved, it takes the decisions you made from the bioware servers. The keep site lets you see those decisions and alter them if you want. So if you decided to kill someone important in origins you can change it so he lived and it will make a difference in the inquisition game, I think.

Guess I'll have to re-purchase DA1 (played it offline as I did everything back then and then gifted it away) and buy DA2 (which I refused to buy because EA made it Origin exclusive and well, because it was sh*t) to push my saves to EA's servers. Though probably I'll wait for the prices to drop around Christmas.
November 15, 201411 yr Started downloading Origins on XBL about 3 hours ago. 6 and a half gigabytes so should be ready to play in about 4-5 weeks.
November 15, 201411 yr Enjoying Inquisition so far. Lots to do. Combat could have been better though. 8/10 so far
November 16, 201411 yr Haven't gone for Unity just yet. Bought rogue though and I've only seen one glitch -- enjoying it so far even if the graphics look poor (as expected)
November 16, 201411 yr I was gonna try out Mass Effect 3 but Dragon Age: Inquisition comes out on Tuesday and it is getting good reviews, so I'll wait for that. Edited November 16, 201411 yr by John_Galt
November 16, 201411 yr I'm throughly enjoying replaying Halo's campaign but the multiplayer is just ruined. Matchmaking is so slow it's unusable.
November 16, 201411 yr Far Cry 4 reviews are in. Mostly 9/10s and perfect scores. Relieved that Ubisoft didn't f**k this one up, like Unity! Edited November 16, 201411 yr by Blueblur

November 16, 201411 yr How did you enjoy Dragon Age dkw? I've played for 8 hours and I'm still playing. Bug on trial period or something? Thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed it. Got to 23 Power in Redcliffe. Found all the camps, closed quite a few rifts. Level 5 at the moment.
November 16, 201411 yr Got about 5 hours in and really enjoying it. Though I may restart it, picked a sword and shield warrior this playthrough but I think I will enjoy a Rogue better. Really impressed with the battle tactics thing, the combat is miles better than DA 2. Preordered it so looking forward to getting really stuck into it. Edited November 16, 201411 yr by dkw
