Why whats wrong with it? Its not out will the end of Nov for the XB1.

Feels rushed.

Nothing has changed from last year and the content is even less than last years too. Modes are pretty poor.

Next gen has a different engine though so hopefully we will get the benefits.

Isnt the career mode good? I thought they had completely re-done it. You start off in NXT and have to work your way up.

Never played it for long.

The reviews are not being kind for it though, they say it's poorly put together and not as exciting as the previous years wrestlmania modes ect.

Not sure if we get the same on the new consoles but I'm hoping they didnt have time to get current gen well done because so much time was spent on PS4/Xone versions.

Its not hard to be the best COD in years to be honest!

Nah but Ghosts was a real low-point for the series. Good to hear Sledgerhammer games have stepped up

Hopefully it wont be a huge mess again online.

COD:AW has got very good reviews. Most saying it's the best COD in years.

Review round-up

The CoD series definitely gets an easy ride from reviewers, consistently scores 8/10 or higher despite there being so many issues surrounding the games.

Black Ops 2 was nearly unplayable online for about a month due to server issues and other games have had a paint by numbers bland story yet it gets overlooked. Even Ghosts, widely accepted as the weakest in the series has a 78 Metacritic score.

COD is like FIFA in that regard.

It wa sonly this year that IGN for once were not as quick to give it a 9 plus out of 10.

I tend to take reviews with a pinch of salt, if I can I do try to play a game before I buy it or if there is a Demo because that's the only way you can really tell if it's worth it or not.

True. I haven't properly enjoyed a COD since the Black Ops/ MW3 days. Black Ops in particular I played to death, downloading all the new multiplayer maps and everything. Must have spent £80+ on that game!

But the new one does really look good. The EXO suits add a new dimension to the gameplay and they actually look like they have put some effort into the story mode. Kevin Spacey is the don!

I used to be a bit of a CoD fanatic and bought every one from Modern Warfare 1 through to Black Ops 2.

Because of the amount of issues Black Ops 2 had online with regards to connection and lag I gave up on it.

Also Black Ops 2 was supposed to be all about rewarding players who played the objective but within a couple of months the kill whores had the kill streaks all figured out and there were endless games where you'd have one team absolutely dominating the whole match through kill whoring and recycling kill streak rewards and some of the kill streaks were ridiculously OP and the only way to counter many of them were to stay inside buildings whilst they were up.

Anyway, needless to say I won't be going back to CoD I'm at a point with my gaming enjoyment now where I much prefer a solid single player experience to multiplayer games that always come with so much bullsh*t attached.

It's official, I absolutely suck are racing games. Took me about 4 goes on the first race to just finish it without exploding the car.

Just finished The Evil Within.

So mixed about it. Monster designs, locations, story, atmosphere are all amazing and it moves away from the "hollywood blockbuster" approach that RE5+ take.

However the stealth (especially early on before you get decent weapons) isn't great and the game is far too willing to kill you instantly at the drop of the hat, leading to some terrible boss chase sections (playing musical chairs with the long haired ghost whilst you wait for a path to clear was painfully bad).

A bit of work and this could've been a classic up with RE4 or REmake, as it stands I'd say it's a 7/10 game.

Anyone getting Halo: Master Chief Collection?

I'm going to be getting it on day one release. Will probably play through all the games then start bossing multi player. No FPS comes close to Halo Multi player.
