Witcher is completed.

Could put some more time into it to fully discover all the question marks but at level 34 and with over 150 quests completed I don't see much point.

Looking forward to Batman on Tuesday.

Did you complete all the sidequests/contracts?

Did you complete all the sidequests/contracts?

I did as many as I could find, I got all the trophies for Witcher Contracts  and none of the noticeboards were lit up anymore.

I did all of the side quests that I had found and fully explored Velen, Novigrad and White Orchard.

Still have a fair few question marks on Skillege Islands but they are mostly out at sea and the ones I explored were mainly spoils of war, so just loot as apposed to quests.

Finished the character with full set of Mastercrafted Griffin armour including the steel and silver swords.

f**king hell FCF! I don't know where you have the time to do all this! You have kids too!

I think I'm level 9, but only really get the chance to play it on weekends. So much to do. Did you enjoy it?

Kids are in bed by 8 which means I can get in around 3 hours playing time of an evening. If I don't have any plans over the weekends I generally have a bit of session

I did enjoy it yeah but I thought the first half of the game was stronger than the 2nd, Skillege Islands were a bit of a chore to explore due to being overly mountainous or needing a boat to reach remote islands, I felt a lot more shackled in the that area than the others.

I got bored of dialogue quite quickly, for me personally some sections just dragged due to be dialogue heavy so I was skim reading subtitles and skipping the dialogue so I could actually play... I didn't particularly care for the story.

It's a good game... Not sure it's as brilliant as some are making it out to be and there's a couple of things that I nagged me such as a the leveling system but I'm glad I played it but I don't see myself returning to it and any expansions or DLC don't interest me.

The Dandelion quest line is never ending.

Rather burnt out. The Quen sign is overpowered too. Playing on the hardest difficulty is super easy when all you have to do is use your shield sign to restore health.

The Dandelion quest was boring... I rushed that one pretty quick.

Agree about Quen, I started to level it about half way through my play through and I during some big encounters I was using that because it meant I didn't really have to worry about my health, especially as when the shield is broken and explodes with the upgrade it staggers the enemy buying you time to reapply it. I could have used other signs but their benefits didn't outweigh Quen's.

Fair play.

I see what you mean by the dialogue; I do the same thing you do, hammer the square button after quickly reading the subtitles!

Never played a Batman game before. Will I be able to just jump into the new one?

Don't see why not. It's a continuation of the story but is a self contained story for this game.

The games are good because if you can't build high combos in fighting or use all the gadgets in the stealth sections it doesn't matter because you are able to play the game as simple or as technical as you want.

One playthrough and you're done? I have four different end games saves from The Witcher 2 to import :)

Though probably only two of them is worth the hassle because saving Triss at the end of TW2 seems to bear no impact on TW3, Geralt and Triss starts out separated. I started with such an import of course, just my form...

I'm not really interested in achieving multiple endings. I enjoyed the game but now I've finished it there isn't anything about it that makes me want to jump straight back into it.

The dialogue was too heavy handed for me so I'm not going to play it through again just to hear a different stream of dialogue. The combat wasn't particularly good or challenging in my opinion, especially compared to how fluid it was in Bloodborne.

Basically Arkham Knight comes out on Tuesday and the Arkham games are easily some of my all time favourites. All my playing time will be focused on that and i'll be look to get 100% completion on that including new game plus and all challenge maps like I did the last two games.

Just done that mission "Broken Flowers" on the Witcher where you have to go and speak to about 8 different people. Ridiculous, so boring with the amount of cut scenes. Its starting to put me off the game. I end up skipping most of the dialogue.

Uh-oh. Quite literally just started this quest....

Had to cancel my limited edition order of Arkham Knight.

Received an email from Amazon that due to "package issues" (apparently the PEGI certificate wasn't printed on the box) I wouldn't be receiving my copy until possibly as late as July 14th.

They were sending out a digital download code today (which I still got because I assume how late I cancelled my order) for the game but the save file wouldn't automatically transfer over if you start playing a disc based version of the game.

I'd rather have my hard copy straight away so off to buy it tonight after work.

^ Is it though?

The "tank battles" look very, very dull from what I've seen from video reviews. Everything else looks really cool.

You're the Batman in the Batmobile driving around Gotham blowing up sh*t and beating henchman to pulp with your bare hands.

Yes it's brilliant.

Currently sitting with a score of 91/100 on Metcritic.

Only Witcher 3 and Bloodborne (92) have scored higher for new consoles.

Oh, I'm not denying its an excellent game. I read the Polygon review and they gave it 10/10. It's just a bit too dark and gloomy for my tastes, I like a bit of sunlight in my games!

Anyway, still got my hands full with Witcher. The next game I'll get is probably going to be Just Cause 3 at the end of the year.
