Any game recommendation?

I've stopped using fast-travel on Witcher. I was getting a tad bored with the game as it was becoming a little mundane so I decided to travel everywhere on foot or horseback and I'm enjoying it much more again. I forgot how full the world is and I still have loads of "?" symbols to explore. Plus the world is just beautiful & detailed enough to enjoy travelling through it without doing anything anyway.

Been playing Shovel Knight on my Vita on the way to work.

Has cross-buy so been able to play it on PS4 too but its nicely suited for the train so I've been saving it for that.

It's an indie game that's influenced by the old 8 bit side scrollers. There's influence from the Mario games, Megaman, Metroid, Castlevania.

Really, really fun. Was only £10, highly recommend checking it out.

Don't recall seeing anyone talking about Destiny on here. Is it any good? I'm thinking of getting it.

Massive let down from what was promised.

But you can pick it up for around £20 now and it's worth that.

Trouble with the game is the lack of content. Once you finish the story you have to keep replaying levels and grinding through them and the multiplayer was a bit boring for me.

It felt like a less fun version of Boderlands to me.

Got it. Played it. Level 6. Already bored.

Yep, Destiny was a huge letdown. It came with so much fanfare but the single player is crap and the multiplayer doesn't get much better.

I was expecting more from Bungie.

Yep, Destiny was a single pile of turd. Got to level 26 and by then I'd had enough. The one-player story was non-existent and the endless grinding in the multiplayer was tiresome. Traded it in ages ago.

I don't know why I bought it really, since I am one of the few people on earth who thinks the HALO games are dog turd too. But as Huttsey said, it came with a lot of fanfare and promised so much. It just failed to deliver on everything. The only good thing I can say is that the graphics were quite good.

Getting fed up of games to be honest, all the promise and hype and you almost always end up disappointed.

If Mirror's Edge 2 flops then I'm officially done, I'll stick to my sports and RPG genre.

Not many games have lived up to their hype. I probably say The Witcher 3, Last of Us.

The Order, The Crew, Watchdogs have been poor compared to the hype.

Replay collection is bloody brilliant, such nostalgia. But i dont remember attic attac being that difficult.

Star Wars Battlefront is shaping up to look like a top game. Split-screen, fighter squadron mode, everything looks great.

2015 is actually looking like a really good year for gaming. It's had/going to have Witcher, Batman, Battlefront, Fallout plus Bloodborne, JC3 etc.

Looks amazing! Who played the previous one on PS2?

Did anyone play Rogue Squadron on the 64? What a game that was! Magnificent. The flying scenes in the new battlefront remind me of that.

I'm pretty much all over most Star Wars game anyway.

or the original Tie Fighter for computer, with a joystick!  Got to be close to 20 years old now.

Xwing v tie fighter is one of the greatest games of all time, had great fun at work lunchtimes playing a network game.

It doesn't get any better unfortunately.

Get Destiny another go, the story mode is still pretty awful but the multiplayer is surprisingly quite fun once you get the hang of it.
