Any game recommendation?

I skipped the cutscenes because of how long they were taking. I just hated the gameplay more than anything. So clunky compared to other modern 3rd person shooters.

Cliché story, rubbish cover system, horrid shooting and just pretty boring overall imo. It's like a poor man's splinter cell really. Can't fault the graphics though, really really nice.

I found it the same, though not as bad. The graphics were amazing but gameplay average. Probably won't get Phantom Pain despite reviews, unless I watch some gameplay videos and like what I see.

If you like 4X strategy games try Endless Legend. It's like Civilization in a fantasy setting with a somewhat better gameplay.

Played it when it first came out, but I found it too easy.

Too easy to dominate.

Just bought Galactic Civilizations III Got really good reviews.

Question for you MGS fans, is the new one that's coming out tomorrow worth getting? I've never really played MGS before but I'm a huge Splinter Cell fan.

Also wondering the same only remember breifly playing the old ones on ps1? And Ground Zeros which was decent whilst it lasted.

Did anyone here like Just Cause 2? I was so excited for that but after I bought it I was so let down.  Combat mechanics were not good and a for a game about needing to destroy everything, they sure made getting plenty of weapons and ammo a chore/expensive.  Probably my most dissapointing game ever, such a big map and some fun early missions, but then I just couldn't continue.

It definitely didn't live up to the first one which was amazing.

I've been playing battlefield 3 and Minecraft mostly this week. Is it weird I find Minecraft oddly comforting and relaxing?

I adored JC2. But then again I played it ages ago when it first came out. Gun-play is a bit clunky but the map is huge and loads of fun.

Not odd at all! A lot of it has to do with the soundtrack, or what little of it there is. Just some slow, gently piano notes whilst you calmly mine for obsidian, wood, wool, whatever.

Phantom Pain - incredible. Graphics and gameplay both fantastic.

Buy it. Not many games I kee, I usually trade them in but I wil keep this one.

I'm not on board the Phantom Pain hype train.

The excessively long cut scenes and slow game play just don't do it for me.

So instead I picked up Mad Max yesterday after it got decent reviews.

Only played just over an hour last night but so far so good.

Combat is similar to Batman and Shadow of Mordor and the car combat mixes it up too.... Map seems huge too and the upgrade system for Max and the car is in depth and interesting.

Pretty sure I'm near the end of the Witcher. Just fought the Battle of Kaer Morhen - a tremendous sequence. I've played nothing else since the day it came out, other than FIFA, so I've certainly put a lot of time into it.

Despite the amazing Phantom Pain reviews, I can't see myself getting it as I didn't find Ground Zeroes particularly good. I'll definitely consider it when the price drops though.

This review is pretty damning of it. It just looks average, going to give it a miss and wait for FIFA 16 instead. In the mean time, I have to hurry up and finish The Witcher!

The person who wrote that review doesn't seem to like the Mad Max setting.

Criticizes that you need to scavenge to allow you to unlock upgrades for your vehicle... It's a desolate wasteland, it's kind of the point that you don't just get everything handed to you.

Moaning that the X button serves multiple purposes, would the game be better if the actions were shared between the X and O button? It's a bizarre thing to take issue with.

A review is only ever one persons opinion and the person who wrote that review has stupid opinions.

True, but it's hardly a AAA release, is it? But I suppose if you're just bored and are looking for something to play it will keep you entertained.

I was not planning on getting this, but after reading review after review after review, I have decided I need it in my life. I'll trade in the Witcher for it, I think.

Just tried streaming the new forza 6 demo from my xbox to windows 10, absolutely seemless, massively impressed by that.

It has overwhelmingly positive reviews from respected companies like IGN. Heard a few say it's one of the best EVER games.

That said, not all games suit everyone. Despite Arkham City getting brilliant reviews, I couldn't get into it. Doesn't make it a bad game.

So been playing fallout shelter for a few days. Now I really want to play fallout 4. 2 months is too far away.

Indeed. I haven't bought Arkham City for the silliest of reasons: it's raining ALL the time and its dark and dreary! I like sunlight and bright surrounding when I play games!

MGS V is in the rain and dark a lot too?
