September 10, 201510 yr Champ 00/01 for me. Endless days and weeks on that. Martin Palermo what a striker! Sharbel Touma out wide was also a monster Edited September 10, 201510 yr by Chelsbear
September 10, 201510 yr Making steady progress with Mad Max. Trying not to rush the main campaign so I'm doing a lot of the side quest type stuff... There's just so much of it. Only on the second region and I'm almost top ranked already. The car is pretty pimped out now too, the car combat is really satisfying. The fist fights let it down a little. They're not anywhere near as fluid as the Arkham games with a lack of variety in what you do. Whereas Arkham has all the gadgets and combo take downs Mad Max just has a couple of different finishing moves.
September 11, 201510 yr Mad Max actually looks quite decent. Might get it when it's going cheap. Worth it FC?
September 11, 201510 yr Mad Max actually looks quite decent. Might get it when it's going cheap. Worth it FC? I think so, it's not one of the best games you'll ever play but there's enough there to pass the hours. It's got a ridiculous amount to do so you'll get your monies worth out of it, just depends if the repetition of open world games gets a bit tedious for you.
September 13, 201510 yr On MGSV, when you die does it save the stuff you have Fulton'd? I would love to know the answer to this too. Have you figured it out yet, JM7?
September 13, 201510 yr I would love to know the answer to this too. Have you figured it out yet, JM7? Reason I'm confused is that I'm sure on i read on one of in game tips is that it does. But from playing, I don't think it does. You have to start again. It's just really annoying when you die.

It's just really annoying when you die. I'm in agreement, I think you do lose the fulton stuff if you die. Just this evening I'd fulton-ed a couple of sheep (yes, i know...) and got mauled to death by a bear (!) as I was heading to my helicopter pick-up zone. Fuming doesn't even cover it!
September 13, 201510 yr How are you finding the fact that you were new to the series Blueblur? I'm in the same boat, wondering whether to pick it up.
September 14, 201510 yr The start was weird with that floating thing and fire guy. I thought MGS was normal non mystical game?
September 14, 201510 yr How are you finding the fact that you were new to the series Blueblur? I'm in the same boat, wondering whether to pick it up. Doesn't make any difference, I'd say you should pick it up. If you enjoyed Far Cry, you'll love this. The start was weird with that floating thing and fire guy. I thought MGS was normal non mystical game? I thought so too! That fire guy was ludicrous!
September 14, 201510 yr Finally finished Dragon Age Inquisition. Bit sh*tty how they make you pay for the DLC once things start getting really good.
September 14, 201510 yr Finally finished Dragon Age Inquisition. Bit sh*tty how they make you pay for the DLC once things start getting really good. Have you played Witcher? I never completed DA:I - I will at some point but I just found the Witcher to be everything Dragon Age tried to be.
September 14, 201510 yr Have you played Witcher? I never completed DA:I - I will at some point but I just found the Witcher to be everything Dragon Age tried to be. Enjoyed the first Witcher, second one was just awful, the clunkyness in combat and just in general completely ruined it for me. Haven't played the latest one. I love Dragon Age games, even if the gameplay itself is sh*t (Origins) I will always be interested in the lore. Haven't been able to get into Witcher the same way, everyone seems to be raving about Witcher 3 though so I'll give it a try eventually.
September 14, 201510 yr I've been pleasantly surprised by the PES demo which I only installed out of disappointment from the FIFA one. It feels much closer to PES 6 than the dross they've come out with since. It will probably £20 before xmas so I'll probably give it a go.

Definitely going back to pes this year.
September 14, 201510 yr Kind of fell in love with that pes demo today. Definitely going back to pes this year. Yeah, it feels more like the arcadey pick up and play that made the old PES games so good.
September 14, 201510 yr The first Witcher is still the ace. Too many fetch quests. Basically a walking simulator. I want to get back into The Witcher 3, but that Dandelion quest really burnt me out. Edited September 14, 201510 yr by JoeyN
September 14, 201510 yr Too many fetch quests. Basically a walking simulator. I want to get back into The Witcher 3, but that Dandelion quest really burnt me out. The Novigrad missions were the worst during the game. Keep going, once you get to Skellige (right after Novigrad), it gets amazing again. The Bloody Baron missions are still my favourite though.
September 15, 201510 yr So I just bought Mario Maker Wii U. ...Amazing... You can be so creative with it.
