Any game recommendation?

ALMOST finished Witcher. Gonna trade it in for Metal Gear Solid which looks brilliant.

The last Metal Gear Solid is free on Games with Gold on Xbox Live at the moment, if anyone's interested. I'll give it a play after Witcher.

Just completed Arkham Knight - unreal game. Would go as far to say that the ending of that is the most enjoyable ending to a game that I've played.

Really? I actually was dissapointed in the ending, other than that the game was brilliant.

Did you get the "true" ending.

You get that by 100%, which includes getting all Riddler trophies. Just completing the main story (defeating Scarecrow) is only a partial ending.

Or, just look it up on Youtube.

Is it like the last couple, 10 minutes of gameplay followed by an hour of cut scenes?

I did finally yes, still for me wasn't the best of endings.

On the home straight with Witcher 3. Just beat the first boss, ilmerth and onto second.

That first boss was bugger with the teleporting.

Got my hands on Dragon Age Inquisition. Not a fan of the battle system, feels clunky like Origins. DA2 got it spot on, should have just kept it the same.

DA2 was way too simple, more hack'n'slash than proper RPG combat and it got a lot of criticism for it. What class are you playing with? I really enjoyed the Tempest in DAI.

Really? Most places I saw praised the combat system as one of the few good things about the game. I've been brought up on Dynasty Warriors though so I love a good ol' hack n slash.

I always start RPG's with a rouge on my first playthrough, mage on my second and then warrior on my third (Hardly ever get to this stage cause I would be bored of the game by now). Tempest sounds like fun and it's most likely what I'll specialize in when I get to that stage.

Well, I come from the world of Baldur's Gate, Planescape, Wizardry, Eye of the Beholder, Bard's Tale... classic team based RPGs where proper tactics are key to managing surviving combat. DA2 has waves and waves of the same stupid enemies, defeating them takes no skill or thinking at all just clickclickclick... Which is ok for hack'n'slash (though the last one I really enjoyed was the original Diablo) but not for the RPGs I like, DAO definitely delivered a way better combat system, it was a mistake to dumb it down.

DA2 gave you both options (admittedly both half assed), you could still carry out tactics and such like you would in traditional RPG's or just straight up hack n slash some fools. Most people went for the latter cause it was easier.

Doesn't really matter to me what combat system an RPG has, all I ask is that it's not clunky and unfortunately for Origins it was one of the clunkiest combat system I have ever played. Inquisition feels like Origins, although nowhere near as bad.

Visually it’s stunning, probably the best looking game on these consoles.

It has a heavy rain feel to it, the walking about will get tiresome and it’s not a particularly long game so little replay value there.

If visuals are your thing and you didn’t mind heavy rain then it might be worth a purchase (not at full price though).

So thoughts on PES 2016 demo?

For me it's very fluid gameplay wise, perhaps a bit too speedy for me so I slowed the speed down for my second game. Stamina seems to be fixed too which is nice!

I'm finding it super fast even on -1, it's so fluid though.

Some great goals scored and 2 really nice saves, keepers are a mixed bag as the palming it out to the attacker is still lurking around.

Celebrations are varied and have a fifa feel as you can interact with things which is nice although the running in a line of 3 is pretty daft.

The more I played it the more I enjoyed it.

The goals you can score and the variety are pretty good and really enjoyable. There is no feeling that the players are hindered anymorethey feel more free.

The new collision system works well, not as noticeable as FIFAs but its a good addition and adds to the gameplay.

Keepers are definitely improved, some of the saves are quality but they are still some way behind FIFAs keepers because their positioning and parrying is still suspect.

I played it on -1 speed but tbh that was still far too fast (double the speed of FIFAs normal speed) thats why it feels so arcade like. It does look like the 2015 version but Id say it plays more like FIFA 10 World Cup.

Playing The Walking Dead on my Vita at the moment, really enjoying it, quite the like the whole interactive story element.

I'm a massive fan of the comics so it's nice having another story arc taking place in the same universe.

Looking to pick up Mad Max in September but I'm going to wait for the reviews because there's been mix opinions coming from those who have had hands on with it so far.

Considering PES was available to pre order for £30, it will probably be dirt cheap in a couple of months.

I'll probably give the demo a go this year considering how underwhelming the new Fifa looks.

Anyone else think Perfect Dark on N64 was surpremely overrated? I feel like the only one who didn't think it was the most seminal game of the 00s.

It was absolutely brilliant playing 4 player death matches on split screen. The level with the big cube in the middle, where u could set up sentry guns, and chase people down with the slayer!

Edit: warehouse level!
