How many League grounds have you done?

Featured Replies

I've done 74, i count grounds that are now gone that i've done, ie old Hull, still to do new Hull ect.

Most of those were obviously following Chelsea but i've also done the odd ground when i've been away for weekends ect

main reason is i'd never get a ticket if Chelsea ever played there, like Hartlepool for example, went there a few years back when they played QPRhahaha, the away end only holds about 6/700 so i'd have no chance if we ever played there.

I'm desperate to see us at Port Vale/Bury/Rochdale places apart from youth games we havent played at for years, the furthest i've still to do are Carlise & Torquay.

66, but like Carshalton Blue, I'm counting clubs not grounds.

Add in non-league clubs which used to be in the league and I'd be over 70

I've lost Luton, Stockport, Cambridge Utd, Kiddeminster & Lincoln all done when they were league clubs, should have counted them really as done the grounds.

Never thought to list them before, not sure if I'll remember them all although there's nowhere near as many as some;

Chelsea, Coventry, Cambridge, Milwall, Tottenham, Man u, liverpool, Gillingham, Oxford, Crystal Palace, Portsmouth, Norwich, Ipswich, Dagenham & Redbridge, Southend, West Ham, Arsenal, Reading, Aston Villa, Fulham, Wimbledon, West Brom, Wolves, Leicester, Leyton Orient, Luton

Add to that a few non-league, overseas and national stadiums. I'm sure I've missed a few, remembering some trips but not who we were playing!!!

I managed to do Port Vale and Huddersfield back in the 80's when I lived in the Manchester area. Neither matches involved Chelsea but they were quite entertaining days out. I went to Port Vale to see them play Sunderland on the last day of the season. Sunderland got promoted that day but the football itself was not memorable. The shenanigans off the field however were another matter. There were numerous pitch invasions and Port Vale fans were keeping the police busy that day. I remember when Sunderland scored a police car drove across the corner of the pitch to separate the fans. A typical last game of the season in the 80's I guess ;)
