May 16, 201214 yr If you get all nervous and shaky before the game, how about not watch it? I know it sounds insane, but I'm actually considering doing it. A total media blackout for the 2 hours it goes on for, and then I'll check the scores online and here, and just watch the replay that they have later on in the day.
May 16, 201214 yr Probably watch it in the local, 50/50 Chelsea and arsenal. They'll all be cheering us on :)

May 16, 201214 yr I know, I know, I would never usually do it. But the nerves are really getting to me now.

I wish I could do that, I just dont think I can. For the semi final I kept changing the channel every 30 seconds but that just seems to make the game seem longer. For the UCL game against Liverpool I put a bit of tape over the part of the TV where the time would be and I muted the TV the commentators do my head in!! I am at a wedding this saturday have never been so gutted about missing a game before, have tried talking my self out of not having to go to the wedding especially with being offered a flight over but I can't... Gutted

A total media blackout for the 2 hours it goes on for, and then I'll check the scores online and here, and just watch the replay that they have later on in the day. Never an option, ever. For the Final in 2008 I was doing something for my school and I specifically said that I would have to leave at 7:30 to go get home in time to watch it, even though the thing finished after 8. No matter how nervous someone is, not watching the game is never ever an option.
May 16, 201214 yr In our house we now have specific places where not to stand during penalties, during the 2008 Final my Mum and Dad were stood behind the sofa and we subsequently lost, and since then that area is forbidden for all types of penalties ever.
May 16, 201214 yr Haha, same round my mates house. We have our own seats. West side, middle, tea bar. Depending where we sat last important win. :)

Gutted That would suck so much.
May 16, 201214 yr No worries folks. We are being backed by a Llama! Paul the octopus 2.0? http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/sport/football/chelsea-backed-to-win-champions-league--by-a-llama-7757052.html
May 16, 201214 yr Going between optimism, looking forward to the occasion and belief; to a resigned feeling in my core we will end up defeated. So hard to say overall, usually if my gut feeling is a loss I am proved wrong, such as with the FA cup final; whereas when I have confidence we normally lose, most recently Newcastle at home...
May 16, 201214 yr The Llama has never played the game, doesn't know what he's on about. Paul the Octopus was different, he'd played at youth level and used to earn 20 (s)quid a game.
May 16, 201214 yr As if this game isn't enough the Blades are in the play off final a week later, we've been in three such finals up to now and haven't even bloody well scored yet let alone won.
