I haven't read through all the comments but I eventually will! I just woke up from a well-deserved nap because damn it that was hard work to watch!! But WE DID IT!!! The players we all love have gotten their champions league trophy, and we know that's the crown jewel on their already amazing careers. Time to blow a bunch of money on the megastore!! I'm so happy I get to remember this day for the rest of my life! I wish I could be in London...someday...but I'm so glad I can share this with you all around the world!

Watched the game at a local Scottish pub with my friend who owns it, they are all Man Yoo fans, but they were still supporting the Chels. Absolutely lost my mind after the penalties! Cannot believe this has actually happened.

Gotta hand it to the llama and the prophet who called this game correctly!

His congregation just got a whole lot bigger, lol. And yes, that llama is a bawse!

I wasn't far off a nervous breakdown when Robben stepped up for that penalty. My heart was in my mouth, and when he missed... wow... euphoric shivers flooded my veins! Once a blue, always a blue, eh, Arjen? Cheers, buddy.

Hope the lads are celebrating in style tonight - they deserve it.

Fingers crossed Roman is still aware of the glaringly obvious lack of talent embedded within the playing ranks. Passion and hunger can only get you so far, and we've now reached the peak. Without investment this summer, the only place we can go is down, unfortunately. Don't forget to spend all those millions of yours, Mr. Abramovich! For the time being, though, enjoy yourself and party hard, as I'm sure the rest of us will all be doing for the rest of the weekend/weeks to come.

London is blue.

Just some other observations that I am sure have been discussed but should be repeated anyways. How about Peter Cech, he stops the Robben pen, then he guesses correctly on every penalty and saves one and may have got a touch on that one that hit the post. Absolutely outstanding!

Drogba of course with his usual self, he can be our best player and his own worst enemy at times. He scores the equalizer, concedes the pen, then puts in the winner! He will always be remembered as a Chelsea legend regardless! You knew that we couldn't win this game without him on the score sheet!

I also have to say that Torres seems that he should of played the whole game, when he was one we gained more possession and he kept them far busier on that right side than when Kalou was on, with whatever that spider thingy was in his hair. Either way it doesn't matter, because we are champions of Europe! London is on top!

Still hard to take in, seen the highlights a few times but still.... amazing. Major credit to the lads and Robbie. Not to forget Roman, we would not be here without him.

I didn't appreciate it at the moment, y'know cuz I was too busy trying not to faint but that Neuer penalty kick!

I mean is he a good kicker in real life or is he that much of a badass that he took it cuz nobody else wanted to?

That was great psychological warfare, seeing a keeper hit a penalty really was demoralizing. It didn't work thankfully but wow.

Also nice to see that Meireles got to celebrate with the trophy this time with no theft by Mikel of the trophy this round. Perhaps someone said something to him

Still coming to grips with this wonderful if improbable win. Our goal led a charmed life in this comp in recent times. Means so much to so many on many different levels not least being we are back in the cl next season.

Special mention for mikel who I thought had a fabulous night at the heart of the midfield. That boy really stood up today.

-At first I was dissapointed to see that this was basically going to be like the Barca game but as the game went on and on without Bayern being able to capitalize I embraced it and thought Chelsea just might have something magical going.

-Then Muller scored and I just thought "well I guess you can only play this style for so long before you get burned" but I didn't give up.

-Then Drogba equalized which was oddly anticlimactic. I don't know maybe I was too hyped up to understand what had happened, I was just screaming.

-Robben penalty kick I really thought we were done for, I thought of Messi but how lightning doesn't strike twice, OH BUT IT DOES!!!

-I was hoping for a dramatic Torres goal to win the game in extra time. And as extra time went on I warmed to the idea of penalty shootout because I didn't think there was a way to win the game otherwise.

-Drogba freekick to win the game which was incredible to even be in that position. The magnitiude of the moment overwhelmed me but he missed it.

-Penalty shootout. For like a microsecond I considered just leaving the pub and waiting outside but I just thought these Chelsea players have been playing their hearts out so it'd be dishonorable for me to bail on them.

I thought of Moscow but I was confident until Mata missed and I lost some belief we were going to win but I just thought after all that had transpired it couldn't end this way.

-After Neuer scored I really thought it was over. Then afterwards it's just pretty much a blur, me screaming at Bayern missing, other Chelsea fans screaming and OH MY GOD Drogba somehow has the opportunity to win the freaking game!!!!! Then I thought about John Terry's miss. Then he just effortlessly put it in, and for a while I didn't understand it was over I had lost count in the pandemonium at the pub and thought that Bayern still had a chance to equalize or something and I had to ask everyone around me if it was all over and IT WAS!!!!!!!

From a Liverpool forum - ASTONISHING !!!!

"Have to say congratulations to Chelsea.

Come back to beat Napoli

Beat Barcelona in the semi

Beat Bayern in the final on their home ground.

Well deserved. Congratulations. "

Anyone else think that Robben was a coward tonight?

I am truly glad he left us. He is spineless, no wonder his nickname in Germany is "Glass Balls", Jose was right to get rid.

Comes with those sort of players I think. Very rarely do you find a player with great feet and great mentality. In the main, he is also right in what he says in that article.

He did some pretty amazing things with us for which I am thankful. But we got could money for him and if we had have spent better we wouldn't have missed him anywhere near as much as we have.
