Doubt it, there has been nothing said about Falcao since then and we now have Costa. I don't see us signing Falcao.

I dont pretend to have any idea, but we tried everyone up top but him, we even tried playing with Schurrle instead of Lukaku. Seemed as we were more then happy to allow him out on loan as well, from all accounts it doesnt seem like he was ever going to be part of the team going forward.

And shockingly enough, we learn nothing from the Sturridge debacle. Who's surprised? Hands in the air.

Instead (and I stress that this is speculation as there isn't confirmation yet) he's huffed and puffed his way to Everton to be the big fish in the small pond. We didn't have a plan last year and our striking options were weaker than this year. Nothing would surprise me with this club.

Even if they can't train at high intensity they should be with the rest of the squad and participating, bonding, showing the media that everything's fine etc... It's been 25 days since Belgium's last match, we're half way through pre-season and there's only 19 days until our first proper game.

Personally i think this is a little different. Sturridge was our best striker at the time and he had proven that he was the best striker and still wouldn't get picked ahead of Torres. Lukaku hasn't proven enough for me. Yeah he scored 15 goals at Everton last season but he doesn't look good enough to lead our line.

 

I just feel that he doesn't want to fight for a place at Chelsea. He thinks he should be number 1 right now.

I can't see everton finishing second in the league in the next 10 years. Liverpool were a dangerous club to sell to, as they always have money to spend. Not too mention we only got 12.5 for Sturridge when he was worth double.

The deal is just about done. Everton agreed on the fee for him & tonight you can see him signing a 5 year contract. Sad but I believe this is no sh*tty rumor anymore.
