As far as im concerned, only reason mourinho loaned him out is so that he gets all the experience he can get and come back to chelsea with his 'A' game. Eto'o and Ba both leave by the end of the season and that would leave lukaku,torres(for one more year only) and whoever else we buy in the summer. Overall smart move by jose, as always ;)

People getting really carried away with Jose comments about Lukaku speaking too much, bit like the way the media refers to everything Jose says as mind games and "taking the blame off the team".

 

It seems Lukaku can't say anything without people taking it badly. All he's said is basic comments that most players his age and stage of development would be saying. 

Personally I've had enough of Lukaku, he reminds me of Sturridge.

Jose let him out on loan because he asked for it from what I've read. Loan not going too well? I'd better ask to go back.

The comment that only he could make himself a better player, shows to me that he doesn't see Jose as his developer.

Remodez is right, I think some of you read way too much into what he says.  Almost as if you're inferring some sort of negative tone from the text.  He's always come across as professional and dedicated to me, and he's said many times that his career goal is to be a star for us.  He has a lot of potential and I hope the time off will have done him good so he can finish the season strongly and have a good world cup.  I'm still confident he'll make it here.

I think we should sell him for a nice profit. He will be the 2nd choice striker and I don't feel like hearing him bitch and moan about it when we are trying to have team unity and win a title.

I dont want us to sell him, good strikers are hard to find and hes good,yeah he needs improving but he is only 20 and under Mourinho he can improve.

Well name me a top European team playing in the champions league where he would be guaranteed a starting spot every week bar Dortmund?.He may not be ready to be our first choice striker next season but he's good enough to play a part for us next season in our squad.There aren't many 20 year old strikers that are good enough to be a starting striker for a big club,thats why you have show patience and develop them.

Their are plenty of young kids with better talent than lukaku.  However, not the body Lukaku possesses...

 

Some kids grow differently than others, lukaku was a man among boys ever since he was a kid.  He plays cause he can handle it psychically, not cause hes talent level is better than he's peers..

 

Next season, torres, eto and a new striker will come.  Where will lukaku fit than?

Footballers dont have lukaku physique.  All and most of his goals are from open play.  How many times does torres, eto, drogba get the chance for open play goals?
