bjd
I wish Fernando Torres a happy birthday and hope he has a fun day, with his team mates and with his family (i understand he is a massive family man ) Coincidentally, 30 is important number for me regarding Torres. Its the average number of times I sigh and look to the floor shaking my head after each time he gets the ball in every game he plays for Chelsea. Sorry, i couldnt help myself. At what point are we as fans of the club allowed to be frustrated at a player who isn't delivering? I've defended Torres constantly throughout his Chelsea career but there comes a point when you have to say enough is enough. As I pointed out he doesn't even have 30 league goals for us since he signed. Even ignoring the £50m price tag that's a poor return for a player in a team stocked full of creative talent. I will never boo him or anything as crass as that but you can't defend the undefendable and Torres in the Premier League wearing a Chelsea shirt hasn't warranted unwavering support. Hope he bullies Koscielny in front of the net like the one he scored on him back in '11. I still don't we would have won the CL that year without him.Happy 30th El Niño. el_gitano
Happy Birthday, Fernando! If you could pull your hammy in the warm-up, that would be great. I`ve been reading this message board for a while now because I like Chelsea ( that´s saying something since I´m not really a football club person) and I just wanted to learn more about the club, the fans, tactics etc. I never actually intended to create an account but that comment made me do it. Some of you call fans of Liverpool, Manchester United, Tottenham, Manchester City, insert any club you want scum but this imo is as low as you can get. Wishing an injury on a player of the opposition team is bad and disgusting enough but on one of your own players? I have no words. He´s already down no need to kick him furthermore. This sadly makes me think ill of the Chelsea fans in general, which is completely unfair and irrational. And the worst thing is that this comment was probably supposed to be a joke. You are right. Injuries are just hilarious.
BellettiBullet
Happy birthday for the other day, Fernando. Also noticed the Chelsea fans at the Bridge chanting "Torres, Torres, Torres" when he was involved in Oscar's first and when he brought a save from Szczęsny in the second half. Pity fans on here can't learn a thing or two.

I couldn't agree more with this post. At the end of the day, we support Chelsea FC, want the best for this club and don't necessary have to support every single player who isn't performing to standards. Unfortunately, this is a result driven business and we can't be expected to be happy with a player who can't even shoot properly 70% of the time. If he hasn't cost 50 million, I might have gone easier on him but 19 league goals for his chelsea career is just a horror show. He just isn't good enough.
