Really? Judging by the goals he was scoring the type of balls he likes played to him are the same ones torres was moaning that he never recieves.

 

That's because 9 times out of 10 Torres is ghosting out on the wing. 

 

If Costa sticks to the middle and attacks the space in the penalty area he'll get more than enough service to score the goals. 

Its gonna be sweet to have someone who likes to stay in the box for a change.

We might even see some crosses come in and the odd header scored!

Torres doesnt have what it takes anymore so all we hear are excuses as to why he fails.

Costa is a warrior and will fight for space and for the ball. I cant see him missing a chance and then go missing for the next 80 minutes.

He may not be as good as some of the strikers out there but his attitude will make up for that. We need a fighter. We need someone with passion and the will to win. Costa has that.

I doubt Jose is playing with two strikers. Costa a lone striker supported by Hazard, Oscar, willian, Cesc, Matic, Azpi, JT, Cahill, luis & courtois in the net.

Im sure we wont start that way, i'd like to see it though

 

 

Costa is quite familiar with playing second fiddle. I'm sure we'll see him and Lukaku (if he stays) upfront at some stage.

I think he will keep 11, Costa I think will have some link to the number 19 so that makes it easy enough.

Probably mid August.

Yeah he may well get 19 or a higher number. If he has a great first season he will inevitably get a lower number next season.

People will always point to someone we could have signed but most of those players were not available. I'm cautiously optimistic. He's in his prime, a battler, a winner, and he scores goals. 36 for the Spanish champions and European finalists last season, so he must be doing something right.

 

Plus, he scares the sh*t out of me, so just think what effect he'll have on the opposition!
