Just got home and absolutely delirious...what a fcuking performance and to see all those scousers moaning and shouting abuse was music to my ears....just watched it back on motd and my first reaction to hearing old Brendan was I thought if anyone lacks class (given all the abuse Jose gets) it was him...ungracious, sly digs about how he wants to play football the right way and wouldn;t resort to those tactics etc...just thought what a dick...sounded like wenger...there is more than one way of playing and you better figure that out or you'll fall fast....seems to forget we beat his team playing attacking football at the bridge...here we played classic counter, a style he better get used to with champs lge next season and had no answers...the so-called pupil just got another lesson from the ultimate teacher

Of course he wanted to score but why take a chance in a situation like that when you can roll the ball across for your mate who can't miss. If anything that shows he puts the team before himself. He clearly is a player who respects his old clubs that's why his celebration was muted. I'm sure if he ever plays against us in the future and scores he would do the same thing.

Against the sides who want to sit back and tell us to break them down we are not as efficient. We lack the creativity and the end product, which is why those silly games mean we are not many points clear now. The right signings fix that.

We needed more attacking options this season. If we had kept Mata we may well have won a couple of those games. Oscar going off form, and hazards injury cost us the season because the rest of the attack didn't have quite enough class. In previous seasons lampard would get the goals but now we need to find a new way. Off topic but it's been on my mind.

Agree to disagree - I don't think he wanted to score on his old club - I am sure he feels bad that they lost today - just like telly tubby would have if he coached CFC today.

Incredible that just 3 points out of these 20 and we would be firmly in the driving seat.

City to be fair have dropped points against a lot of the dross aswell, but I guess we did the double over them and they lost to Liverpool.

Just need to learn how to beat well organised defences.
