August 31, 201411 yr Slow down people, still only 3 games into the season. But yes Arsenal really haven't improved like everyone else thought they would, I expect them to have a good go again but it will just be meaningless. There is no way they will keep at it they don't have the mentality even if they stay injury free. Call us anti football all you want, our players would run through walls for Mourinho and don't ever give up, there is no way Arsenal are finishing above us this season, can't see it happening. Don't think anyone can call us anti football after yesterday lol
August 31, 201411 yr Don't think anyone can call us anti football after yesterday lol Don't worry, they'll just babble nonsensically about oil and stolen wealth LOL.
August 31, 201411 yr Don't worry, they'll just babble nonsensically about oil and stolen wealth LOL. Roman stole that wealth from his enemies fair and square.
August 31, 201411 yr Arsenal got lucky once more. Their next game, Citeh. I expect them to get hammered by Citeh. Wenger is too cheap to buy a proper striker.
August 31, 201411 yr Arsenal got lucky once more. Their next game, Citeh. I expect them to get hammered by Citeh. Wenger is too cheap to buy a proper striker. From his post match interview I think they are after someone
August 31, 201411 yr Hogan, Wenger is always after someone, but buys crocks only. That poor Sanchez, he runs the hell out of him now. Ozil & Sanchez will be dead tired by December. I can almost bet my rear end on it. Goose egg is ever changing under the baggy coat.
August 31, 201411 yr Who could they be after though? When you constantly decide to shop at Lidl eventually the half price stuff runs out and you will have to pop into waitrose. I can't see any value for money strikers left on the market for them to buy, They will have to go in for Falcao or Cavani or face a real wrath of complaints from the fans if they decide to cheap out and buy another striker who has the 'potential' to be good.
August 31, 201411 yr Wenger, being a self-acclaimed hero of economics, will always drag Arsenal down. Long may he reign as their manager.
August 31, 201411 yr I'm guessing it will be Falcao on a loan deal, can't see it being anyone elseCan't see it with his wagesMaybe Welbeck or Kalou Edited August 31, 201411 yr by Bobbywoodhogan
August 31, 201411 yr It would be so typical if Falcao ended up at Man City and if Arsene Wenger went and bought some no-name forward from the French league. Really hope we don't see Falcao in England unless in a Chelsea shirt of course! Man United have sold Kagawa back to Dortmund for £6m. A real bargain for Dortmund if you ask me. Firstly United buy players at overly inflated prices yet now they've sold Kagawa for peanuts. Ed Woodward = Economics Genius.
August 31, 201411 yr I just wouldn't understand Falcao to City tbh, unless they're that worried about Aguero's fitness.
August 31, 201411 yr I just wouldn't understand Falcao to City tbh, unless they're that worried about Aguero's fitness. As most know I'm a regular on Bluemoon. It seems several Spanish clubs (namely Valencia and Atletico) are after Negredo which makes this Falcao thing look likely. Their attack would be frightening with Falcao and Aguero. I wonder if Jose has made them nervous?
August 31, 201411 yr Jose has definitely made us nervous but also the fact that we have to win our CL group to have any chance of doing something in Europe, Either win the group or we have to prepare to take on a Real/Barca in the 2nd round, We might need Falcao to help us finally get over that hump. Having said all that United are sniffing around now also, If Madrid pull out, I fear United snapping him up more than Arsenal even in their current situation, They would have a devastating forward line if they added Falcao, and if Falcao had any sort of sense he won't go to Arsenal whatever the wages or incentives simply due to the clubs lack of ambition.

August 31, 201411 yr Negredo was worth dropping from the CL squad but with Falcao up front we can afford to drop say a Nastasic or Clichy and have Milner cover at LB and in the CB area we are covered anyway.
August 31, 201411 yr I feel like such a petty twat talking about 4 strikers and still not being 100 % satisfied, I was watching a game yesterday when we had Dickov and Shaun Goater up front Lol

I'm not too sure what they're thinking but the City fans seem to think a bit of dead wood is being shipped before the deadline. Falcao is 29 now, he's not going to be interested in messing around with the United project over City. He'll want to win things. Arsenal would be a bigger threat because he'd have nobody to compete with.

August 31, 201411 yr seems to me the first 3 matches of the season have told us that a) Chelsea are much stronger in attack but may need to find a way of dominating midfield more b) City look pretty good but may slip up against bus-parking bandits c) Liverpool are likely to finish in the top 4 and may push for the title but their defence still looks suspect d) United are a pale imitation of a side that used to win things and e) nothing has changed at the Emirates

August 31, 201411 yr Defoe rumoured to be set to sign for QPR. 'Arry singing him for the third time... Or is it fourth? Edited August 31, 201411 yr by ForeverCarefree
August 31, 201411 yr Defoe rumoured to be set to sign for QPR. 'Arry singing him for the third time... Or is it fourth? Be a good signing for them that. He came through the youth ranks at West Ham didn't he? So I think this will be the third time.
August 31, 201411 yr Anyone worried about Arsenal? Worried is not the word i would use, i'm happy with their performances so far Edited August 31, 201411 yr by Scott Harris
