Re. United, let them spend their money. As we proved last season, there's a difference between buying players and building an effective team. As the sad case of Mata shows, you can buy a very good player and not know how to let that player fit into a system and be effective. Also, the value of 'journeymen' - solid professionals - in a team is important. United could have a high proportion of top class players and still not perform (we hope).
