I personally think the a Arsenal board are happy with a 4th place finish and CL football because there profits are doing well. I honestly think if arsenal were to drop out of the top four they'd have a massive spending spree like United.

Same, it's all about their business portfolio for sponsors and stuff. Top 4 is fine, anything extra is a bonus

What takes deals so long?

Welbeck will sign for Arsenal by the morning because they are allowed an extension.........................That makes no sense. Why bother having a deadline if you are allowed to sign players outside of that deadline ?

 

Arsenal shouldn't be allowed to sign Welbeck, they took too long.

So, arsenal have begged for more time to sign wellbeck, that's so pathetic I'm not sure which bit is funnier.

I was under the impression extension's are given when the deal is done verbally but they need a bit of time to draw up the actual contracts etc.

I don't think it is fair. That deadline is there for a reason. Arsenal have had since June 1st to get their transfers done, it they can't get it done by 11pm on the 1st September then that is tough luck in my opinion.

An hour and 20 minutes after the deadline.

 

I say if they can't get their transfer deals done in the 3 months the transfer window is open for that is tough luck.

Damn, one team sign Falcao on loan, the other get Hernadez on loan, someone else signs Welbeck. We all know who's the loser out of this sea 

 

Falcao is an odd one. Porto made into the CL he signed for Atletico, moved on to Monaco after Atletico got into the CL, now Monaco is in the CL he's with United to win Europa league.
