Is Hulk in there too? Don't get the hype there at all.

And sorry Kinkladze but I think Kompany, whilst being a very good defender and excellent captain, is also vastly overrated by many as 'The Best Defender in the World'.

He probably is the best defender in the world because the defending cupboard is very bare at the moment, Who are the contenders for best central defenders? Varane do me a favor, Hummels, Maybe, Terry, Yes but he will never get judged fairly in this argument due to his off field actions, Thiago Silva, Maybe, If anyone even mentions Pique and Ramos in this argument i will pull my hair so hard you'd think my hairstyle was something from Jersey Shore. I agree he is very overrated simply because he is good with the media and comes across as a real gentleman, So whilst it would take him 3/4 significant mistakes to raise criticism from the media, It only takes Demechelis 1 mistake to receive criticism, Same applied with Lescott and Nastasic.

Lampard is in the squad for Sunday by the way fellas, If i had to predict a line up, It would be a 4-3-2-1 formation defensively and 4-2-3-1 attacking, Hart in goal, Zabba on the right, Kompany, Mangala in the middle, I just get the vibe this would be the perfect game for him to make his debut and say to him, You're our £32 million defender, Go mark Diego Costa and show us why Jorge Mendes is your agent and why we paid top dollar for you. Clichy at left back, Fernandinho, Lampard, Milner at CM, With Silva and Toure behind Aguero.

I'm a nervous nellie by nature but I don't think i've ever been this nervous before a crunch game, Simple reasons for that is if we lose, Pellegrini's position will come under huge scrutiny and i'd hate to have a manager merry go round again.

I would add just about all of ManU's recent signings. Some of them are good players but they're massively overpaying for them. Fellaini 27.5m, Mata 37.1m, Herrera 29m, Blind 14m, Shaw 30m, Di Maria 60m, and Falcao on loan for 16m. Only Blind has a chance of being a good value for them.

I don't think Cavani is worth his 50m price tag either.

Silva isn't a maybe, he's by far better. Balrzalgi is also better. Chellini when he actually plays CB is also better.

I would put Kompany in the bracket below those 3 with along with the likes of as Pique, Hummels, etc as in great defenders on their day but not consistent enough and/or make too many mistakes.

Do you think they'd sack him if you ended up trophyless this season?

No way is Kompany the best defender in the world. I like him because he seems like a nice guy and he was really good on A League Of Their Own when he was talking about dealing with Balotelli, but he's had a really dip in form since his fantastic '11/12 season.

It would depend on how far we get in Europe, Semi Finals in the CL and he's safe for the entirety of next year, Quarter finals or earlier and i could see them bringing in Patrick Viera from the u21 squad to take charge for next year and if he did well, give him an extension, if he didn't then keep him on as assistant manager to the new guy, and if they were to be looking for a manager next year there's only two possible candidates, Simeone regardless of how he got on this year and Guardiola if he failed this year and the German press hounded him out, Which i could see happening.

You can argue Thiago Silva but Barzagli and Chiellini i honestly don't see enough of them play to make an argument for or against them.

I agree he's had a dip in form since that great 11/12 season but let's be honest, The last season he had under Mancini was a debacle for everyone, Bobby Manc tried to play 3-5-2 because he saw Italy play it at the Euro's and thought here's a good idea Lol I don't think any side in the Premier League will be able to play the 3-5-2 formation and do well, We've tried and failed, QPR tried and failed and United tried it and have gone back to a 4-2-2-2 formation of sorts, I honestly don't know why it doesn't work.

Simeone wouldn't shock me were you to let Pellegrini go

I take back the Guardiola to City comment because as long as Mourinho is still in charge at Chelsea, He would not want to come to the Premier League after what happened between them in La Liga.

You mean the record that Guardiola has of 8 wins vs Mourinho and 3 losses? Not sure of your point!

semi finals of the cl you are taking drugs, pelligrini is useless, you only won the league last cos we pissed it up the  wall you won't get a result in rome either, so then your chasing results to get out of the group, and you know what i'm saying is right or you wouldn't be saying simone or guardiola glad he went to munich and not us, another spanner.

According to Guillem Balague, Guardiola left Barcelona because he was mentally burnt out due to his rivalry with Madrid and Mourinho, Obviously he didn't like the fact he lost the title to Madrid by a big margin that year but Balague said that he just wasn't up for the mind games with Mourinho and the mental baggage that was forced upon him being the manager at Barcelona. Whilst he has a good record against Mourinho, You have to remember Mourinho's Inter side beat him in the CL semi finals and before the 2nd leg that year Mourinho accused Guardiola of having an obsession with winning the champions league, Like it's almost a divine right for them to which after the game Guardiola got very irritated with a journalist who asked him that question.

There's so much tension between those two that it makes Wenger and Mourinho's rivalry feel like best of chums, The Premier League on the other hand would absolutely love it if Guardiola was the manager at City, Mourinho at Chelsea and Van Gaal at United, That would be a treble of world class coaches and a real coup for Sky Sports and BT Sport. I mean don't get me wrong, I love Pellers but i've seen more personality in dead people at times than him, He reminds me of Wenger a bit, Which is not a good thing at all.

Fair points. Mourinho did say that Guardiola does not enjoy football because he's losing his hair, and someone who enjoys their job doesn't lose their hair.

Wenger ruining football. Arsenal's wage bill more than Chelsea's shock.

He's building a team that will finish fourth in the League and scrape into the CL group stage via the qualifiers.

That article was a bunch of guesswork that me and you could have come up with, I wouldn't take it as fact.
