February 25, 201511 yr ratovic? it speaks volumes that you think one has to be a professor to spell a name correctly and i genuinely had no idea what you were talking about. thought it was some weird suarez (rat) pun Edited February 25, 201511 yr by launcher

February 25, 201511 yr Killed himself playing 2 in the middle, especially when neither of them are Toure or Fernandinho.
February 25, 201511 yr That's a bit unfair on him, he was asked about Suarez and what he thought of his performance tonight, and he replied "what did they pay for him, £80 mill??, that's what you get" Did you notice I said did he? I was going on the assumption he'd said something about the price in terms of them spending to much but I hadn't seen the interview.
February 25, 201511 yr I can no longer think of QPR without the name 'Queen's Park Raisins' popping into my head. Thank you, LVG. Not that I spend much time thinking about them, just whenever I come across them in the news or in the table. 'Queen's Park Raisins manager Harry Redknapp in dodgy peg debacle.' February 25, 201511 yr Killed himself playing 2 in the middle, especially when neither of them are Toure or Fernandinho. It wasn't the formation, it was the players. Second half they had a much more positive mentality and caused Barca problems with the exact same formation.

In any case he had no reason to bring up the price tag. Look what we got from 50 mill Torres :-D
February 25, 201511 yr City have to be the worst English side I have seen play in the CL. They have no tactics and treat games like EPL ones. No wonder they get booted out year after year, Barca could and should have been 4 up by half time. So easy

Our first ever game in the competition was against AC Milan, we started off against the big boys and still stood our ground. We beat Barcalona at the Bridge 3-1 with Zola, Flo etc in the team (one of the best games I've ever been too I should add), this City side with it's wealth of talent haven't matched that yet. We have been a superb side in Europe for about 15 years (if not more) now, I don't think many sides like getting drawn against us in Europe, regardless of the players or manager we nearly always perform well.

Spot on. Fairly early in Romans reign we got to the latter stages, City have struggled to get past the groups and done woeful in the Europa when they were in it. There is no way we would have been 2 down after 30 mins against them last night, City were and continue to be very naive when it comes to European football. They think the setting up 4-4-2 no matter what is going to work even against the cream of Europe, they got battered into submission last night. I also feel their main man Sergio may well look elsewhere pretty soon as he has next to no chance of getting his hands on the trophy at City.
February 25, 201511 yr A mate of mine says he thinks Arsenal will win the Champions League this season. I personally don't think they have the mentality to but as with football you just never know.

Yep. The coefficients points tell the story. Up to last year we were second to just Barca over the last 10 years. It's possible we have slipped to 3rd after Madrid winning it lat year though now.

They say that every year don't they? I think they are under the impression that it's not the Prem league, and there won't be any Pulis style teams to rough them up, prettiest football wins doesn't it? Just refer them to 2012.

February 25, 201511 yr Wow, Those Van Gaal/Moyes away form comparison stats are shocking, Those Van Gaal stats are Chris Hughton-esque.

Steve Gerrard, Gerrard, he threw a cross-field pass, he hit a home run and slam-dunked it to Demba Ba, who got a touch down, touch down.Doesn't rhyme, doesn't fit and isn't funny to anyone but me - but I like it :)
