Wise as Centre Half?

Strangely I'm more concerned about the right back (won't try to spell his name) he was absolutely honking

Started to pick but then couldn't. Too many quality players, how to choose between Desailly and Percy or Wise and Essien, let alone between Robben and Zola.

 

And I'm only relatively new, how are people going to leave out Nevin or Harris or Bonetti?

I just had exactly the same problem, I couldn't make a team and leave out Charlie Cooke, Bobby Tambling, Ron Harris, Eddie McCreadie, Peter Osgood etc and every decade seems to have its standouts that I couldn't ignore...it would be difficult enough to pick one from the Abramovich era let alone from a lifetime of supporting the club.

Terry, Lampard, Wise, Maka and Cole speak for themselves. Can't imagine anyone not putting those three in the team. Drogba gets in for me, solely on his clutchness in winning the CL for us, over Osgood, Dixon and Tambling. The wingers have little competition as of right now and are legends. As much as I hate putting Gallas there he has probably been our best RB and the combination of that back five is one of the greatest in football history, hard to leave Carvalho out since he was more important than Terry for a couple years. Cech gets in for the same reason as Drogba, delivering that first CL trophy edges him above Bonetti

you've got to be kidding, who would be partner terry is nightmare in itself, dempsey, pates, elliot, monkou, carvalho,mr beef, the rock, gallas,: jesus that would keep me awake for week!

Cole - best LB in world Football for 10 years

Makelele - him leaving was responsible for our drop after Mourinho

Lampard - best Chelsea player ever

Di Matteo - the reason I fell in love with football

Zola - the master

Drogba - Our best striker ever.

Robben - gutted when he left, Hazard will be here once he realises his potential though.

Surprised to see Robben on so many lists. Wouldn't have him over Mata or Hazard- no balls.

I think he's a much better player now than he ever was at Chelsea.
