F**king Benitez - hasn't a clue what a half decent striker is - never mind Plymouth, we should have loaned SInclair to liverpool for the 2nd half of the season for this game alone!

Liverpool should have buried Utd here but they are totally toothless

That utd win reminds me of when joe cole scored a late deflected winner in our first championship season when we were completely outplayed and stole the points...Utd are playing very averagely at the moment but keep winning...while mathmatically we have a chance, I can't see how we can catch them what with their fortune and our misfortune...their name is on the trophy this season

Disappointed, but why the heck would I shout on Liverpool to win a match.. icon_twisted.gif All we can do is to win every match remain and pray Man U have a disaster.. Whether is pure luck or else, you got hand it to the red nose, they did steal a number of matches out of no where

I think Pool actually played well, and worse than that I think Bellamy had a good game and should have stayed on.

Cant see how they never scored but then Saha should have had a penalty and like us in Joses first season, Utd are getting the luck.

I think we have to concentrate on the CL and just look at winning as much as possible and hoping Utd get the results their football dreserves (the last couple or three games they have been second best by a mile)

a CL win would make this a great season for us, a CL and FA cup still a dream season.

lets live the dream scarf.gif

Liked Red Nose's honesty after the game when he admitted they had rode their luck in recent weeks. At Fulham and today they got wins out of games they should have lost. Although to be fair they could've had a 2nd half penno for the trip on HaHa.

So yes, while they've had their slice of luck along the way. And while I still think us having major, long-term injuries to key players has handicapped us massively, we should be big enough to congratulate them on winning the EPL title.

Man Utd. had sucha damn luck today. It really couldn't be true. A free kick that never was a free kick.

I keep my fingers crossed for our game later. I pray for a win.

Liverpool didn't play that bad and i really thought Man Udt. would only gain one point instead of three.....Bad day!

I'll congratulate them when it's mathematically certain just as I only talked about having won the title last two seasons only after it was mathematically impossible to lose it. They've had the performances of champions so far, though. Won some games when played poorly but won some by playing very, very well. But as long as they can theoretically lose the title, I won't congratulate them on winning it. They look to be heading for the title, but I'll just rather see how the season goes than concede the title just yet. Now we need to thump Pompey and reduce ManU's points gap AND goal advantage over us.

COME ON CHELSEA!

As long as we do our job and keep winning and then beat them at the Bridge it keeps the pressure on them right up till the final day of the season (goal difference aside)

If we don't do out bit or we don't beat them at the Bridge then we only have ourselves to blame.

this league is far from over. all they need to do is drop 3 points anywhere before the chelsea game and the pressure will mount. remember, larsson gone, scholes out for 2 league games, rooney may be missing too. theyve got a far from easy run in. but we need to win every game we play now. it ain over till its over.

Solskjaer's out as well.

All we can do is keep winning. If we win the last 11 and that's not enough we can't really complain. And we'll have beaten them and won at the Arse, so there will have been great momnents along the way!

It pains me to say it, but... I think it's lost.

Just watched the game and the mancs have their name written all over the Prem. You just can't watch them win games like this one and Fulham without feeling there is something beyond reason that will see them through.

Hell, we tried. icon_mad.gif

P.S. can anyone tell me what "the fat lady singing" means ? icon_confused.gif

one other thing to come out of this game: where is redrob? six weeks ago he was on here giving it large about how pool were going to beat us to second, even the arse...if we win our game in hand we will be 13 points ahead of liverpool icon_lol.gif they're still a long way short of a title winning side

Not giving up yet , United havnt played well in a while and even Fergie pointed out that they are riding their luck.

Anyway , were still in the CL , How i would LOVE to beat them on the way to a win and of course the F.A. Cup .

So, still plenty to play for this season.

lets's remember what happened to us -

Before xmas we had two ucky wins against Everton and Wigan with late goals. I remember taking a big sigh of relief after both.

Then what happened? Two home draws against Reading and Fulham, both with the away team equalising late on in a somewhat fortunate manner.

So, Utd didn't drop points against Liverpool, a game where you might have thought they would. They still have 9 other games where they need to draw just twice.

If they win all theirremaining matches they get 99 points - 4 more than our record. I don't see that happening but if they do it then hats off to them.

As far as our match against them, well it's odds on that it will be delayed for the FA Cup semi's. At least one of us, and probably both, will be involved. It may mean that the league match gets pushed back right to the end. Could be quite a climax.

The main thing for us is to keep winning - 10 games left, 30 points to play for. 10 wins andwe will have 93 points. I'd be surprised if that wasn't enough.
