It was embarrassingly bad, you could hear the players in the 2nd half. sh*t karaoke before and after the match doesn't make for a special atmosphere.

Another special European night at Anfield, aren't we all glad they are back?

A few minutes of karaoke (of a camp, cheesy song which was originally from a musical) followed by silence. Tourists and day trippers with ipads, selfie sticks and half and half scarves. Spine tingling indeed.

Bunch of 'plastics' - nowhere to be found or heard when its going against them.

Joke club now, they know they are back to being mid table rubbish. After the money they've spent, when they miss out on Champions League next season they'll have not as much spending power. Lets hope the slide continues.

'The best supporters in the world' are in a frenzy trying to film Real Madrid players celebrating. Unfortunately nothing unusual in the modern game (how do these morons get tickets for a game like Madrid?)...but funny given the way Liverpool bang on about being 'real' supporters and not plastic.

Their home crowd was embarrassing last night as was one half of the commentary team.

The usual “The special night at Anfield are back and boy have we missed it†and “The atmosphere as always is magical in this old groundâ€

Bar 2 renditions at both the beginning and in the 88th minute of YNWA it was as dead as a morgue. You could tell the old fool commentating was raging as when Neville told it like it was about selling Suarez the old muppet started getting snappy.

The media are in bits because the darlings of last season are utter…and I mean UTTER sh*te.

Chelsea obviously in no position to talk about home atmosphere of late, but surely a top atmosphere should be guaranteed with a single tier stand like the kop. 

 

José needs to tread carefully with slagging off fans that pay an absolute fortune to go to the bridge, but I'm hoping his rant leads to some change i.e. cheaper tickets for U21s and more relaxed stewarding. When people get chucked out for persistent standing and the club send threatening letters to people that have been trying to get an atmosphere going, it's not easy at all.

I loathe the dippers and all they claim to be. Some of their supporters are even asking Real Madrid to go easy on them in the return leg because ' they should be respected as an historic footballing institution'.  Have a word. I hope Real Madrid smash them to bits, and I hope we teach them a lesson as well next week.
