2015/2016 Chelsea Strip

Featured Replies

In a world were there are online petitions for every little thing, surely someone could come up with one to send to the club asking for yellow away kits.

We only wore it a couple of times but I quite liked this away one from the 2010 season I think it was:

I am wearing this shirt right now, except mine has short sleeves though.

Are you sure it's not the new Boro away kit because I hear they are literally the same?

Fairly sure we never won in that kit, I think it was viewed as jinxed the year we had it. Only game I remember us wearing it was away to Villa. Kakuta got a random start and left us all wondering what exactly the hype was surrounding him.

I always thought the original kit was green!

It was, that link is for our away kits only.

Here's the home ones. The first kit was a sort of mint green.

EDIT.

Taken from the club's Wikipedia page regarding the club colours:

"Chelsea have always worn blue shirts, although they originally used the paler eton blue, which was taken from the racing colours of then club president, Earl Cadogan, and was worn with white shorts and dark blue or black socks.

The light blue shirts were replaced by a royal blue version in around 1912"

They are? I don't think they look that much alike. (insert a troll emoticon or an animated GIF of your choice)

Funny how the kits in the 90s were all baggy yet now they're a tight fitting. Just goes to show much fitter footballers are today, the 90s still had a bit of podge

Yeah.

Can't imagine Gazza would have looked that good in a tight fitted number.

I'm LITERALLY rolling on the floor laughing. I wish there was an acronym for that. Or better yet, a small icon to signify I'm partaking in such an activity. That would be so convenient.

I truly hope they don't have the red stripe in it otherwise its okay. As for the disastrous sky blue training kit, that sh*te better be dead and buried forever!!!

The red is a tribute to the Chelsea pensioners, i think it's a nice touch.

I wish we would ditch the black shirts though, i have never been a fan of them. We should just go with blue, white and yellow every season.

If they want a tribute to the Pensioners, why can't we just have players turn up to games in those red coats and weird hats instead of suits, then we don't have to sully our kit with red.

Just out of curiosity, but is red in the club crest ok? I mean, even one you have as your avatar has quite a bit of red on it. One might say it has more red on it than the new kit.

I get that but the red pinstripe just doesn't look good on our shirt or potential new shirt.

Also love the pensioners, who doesn't but I don't think that's why its being used.
