Will Griezzmann be that striker?

 

I believe Mourinho dosen't want 3 targets striker. Remy is bit of a mix, but I believe he wants a Griezmann, Aguero, Suarez, Lacazette type to work with Costa or as a diffrent striker option.

 

I still remember a interview with Mourinho where he was talking about beeing "forced" to buy Shevchenko:

I wouldn't be interested in picking up a defender, unless it is a top target, should just promote ake and Chalobah.

Midfield I can see mikel going (although I can see that every summer), and rlc taking his place.

I think a central midfielder would be better to replace Mikel, then move Fabregas into attacking midfield whenever we need to.

We definitely need a midfielder at all cost. Cesc and Matic are good no doubt, but they can't play all the games this season and we have no one to replace them well quality wise. RLC is good all in all, but he haven't even played full 90 mins of senior football how can you imagine him playing week and week out for a title defending team?

 

Ramires is absolutely dire and he's getting old, he'll eventually lose his pace which is his main asset, I think we should offload him this summer.

Mikel is a squad player, I wouldn't want to sell him. But he's nowhere near the quality to be on the first team.

 

So basically we only have 2 good midfielders and imagine what happens if one of them gets injured for say a month? We'd be f**ked.

 

Our main priority signing should be a mediocentro then a striker/ backup goalie.

 

We'll also be challenging for UCL next year, and with only Matic and Fabregas as our midfielders there's no way we can Challenge for both the title and UCL. Plus Cesc Fabregas also suffers second half of season syndrome every other year.

It's only a million or two more for winning the Premier League than it is for 2nd or 3rd that we're used to, isn't it? Not a great difference. The big one will be the TV deal and sponsorship.

I'd be happier with Koke since we need a good CM with the possibility of Mikel and OScar going out, meaning Cesc moves into the number 10 with Koke playing alongside Matic. Griemann is definitely a upgrade on Willian as our winger right now, but its not as important as Koke would be. Also I don't see the hype around Dybala, I don't think that'll be worth it

I think he plays best as a second striker so in theory he could play alongside Costa if needed.

It would be a crucial signing IF it were true.

However I can't see it as he's only been there a year plus we do seem to be interested in Koke too.

So I think the interest in him is real. There aren't many good strikers available these days... maybe Lacazatte... but I think he's like Defoe.. 

Icardi is a knobhead, Daybala is good but unproven. So signing Griezzmann would make sense. He's possibly the closest player Neymar, the movement, the killer instinct etc. He's of same age as of Hazard and would definitely improve as well.
