So disappointed in Begovic last night, I know its only pre season but I cant help but think that Cech would never of had a shocker like that. He basically cost us the game dosn't fill me with confidence if I'm being honest.

Schwarzer had a similar start in pre season when he signed for us, he did well enough when we needed him. This is pre season, basic mistakes can and will happen.

Lol at some of the things I’ve read here.

To all the short-sighted gloom merchants, let me take you back to the Pre-Season we had after we’d won the Double. I remember we were poor in all the games that we played, looked lethargic etc and guess what, we won the first two league games 6-0 vs. West Brom and Wigan iirc.

Point I’m making here is that this result doesn’t matter one bit. What is essential is getting the players fit both physically and mentally for Swansea on August 8th, which evidently they are not yet. This was the first step in that process.

I watched the first half before going to bed as it was late. We were completely in control and should've got at least 3 in that half whilst they barely had a sniff of goal, so I was very surprised when I woke up and saw the score line.

Also I know it's preseason but I'm really beginning to hate psg and I want us to at least get some revenge for last season.

Lets not forget it was also the first game since the boys have had a proper break. They went straight from premier league to Asia (pretty much), so they've obviously had a good few weeks off.

Result means nothing, it was a stepped up training session, fair play to NY RB

was just great to see all the players back in action, happy days ......

I don't think people are unhappy with the actual result, but more unhappy about the way we played.  I know it's only the first pre-seaon game, and we haven't been back in training for long, but that was still a pretty dire performance.  It was good to blow the cobwebs out though, and I can only imagine we will get better in each game we play before the season kicks off.

I'm not worried at all though as I know we will be ready when the season kicks off.

That was a sh*t season anyway and Carlo got sacked.

How about last season after werder Bremen spanked us 3-0?

This is why I've decided to support Arsenal from now on. I want to see my team batter useless teams in July and win meaningless silverware before the season starts.

None of this winning major trophies bollocks.
