On another note, was it just me that thought BTs camera coverage of the game yesterday was shocking? I don't recall Sky or BBC having those issues when televising a match!

It's clear Wenger doesn't care for the rudeness and disrespect directed at him and other managers (eg Benitez) by Mourinho.

You Chelsea fans obviously idolise a manager that has brought you great success but his malice and spite is unsavoury meaning he doesn't command the universal respect his managerial talents might otherwise demand.

Hardly surprising Wenger doesn't want to shake his hand. Can you blame him?

I didn't expect the two to shake hands and it's clear they don't like each other. However Wenger does it to any manager that beats his team or has a little argument with him.

Its amazing how bad BT are at covering the footie, the advert they keep showing is actually quite good, but the "product" itself is  poor.  I don't know who the gobsh*te standing with Glen Hoddle and co was, but he was useless, and as for poor little Michael Owen, oh dear.

Half the match seemed to be shown on the long lense & all you could see was a dark bit of pitch!

Hmm, Cahill's nose was as a result of an Arsenal player falling on him as they jumped for a header and Brana got shoved in the back as he went up for a header - neither were as a result of "win at all costs" actions as I recall.

I'll give you the latter but the former was caused by Cahill getting wiped out by Brana covering, which was pretty committed.

That said, your point still stands. It certainly wasn't our normal level of obstinacy! [emoji5]?

Look at the state of this f**k nugget, trying to make out wenger is classy. Run along you dumb little sh*t. Run along back to your "real" football club, you know the one that thought it was a good idea not to keep curbishley, then dropped down the divisions quicker than a dog can sh*t.

I'm not being rude

Just expressing a view

The curtain raiser to the season is soon forgotten

The likelihood is that you lot will win again, but I'm going to continuously call it the way I see it.

I'd like us (Charlton) to do well this season.....sadly. I think we have no chance of the play offs let alone promotion

You Chelsea fans have no idea what it's like to be a real football fan.......

Express your view somewhere else because your view means f**k all to us.

Extremely poor performance from us but the players are barely fit and therefore it's a major ask to expect them to be sharp enough. I don't know why we came back from pre-season so late, but it clearly hindered us yesterday because Arsenal were playing games in Vietnam when our players weren't even training, they had a major advantage. The game against Fiorentina now makes much more sense to me and I hope the players can take it seriously and use it to get back that sharpness as quickly as possible

Funny how you don't respond to the perfectly good comments about how many of the posters on here have probable been supporting Chelsea longer than you've been alive, son.

1. Mourinho needs to apologize. Funny enough, it wasnt even a poor performance. The players played very well, but the tactics was a disgrace.

2. Azpolicueta has been poor since February

3. Hazard needs to take hard look at himself. Like he did vs. Atleti 2 seasons ago, he caused the goal and of course, he misses a sitter.

As for Moses and the game yesterday, I am very worried about Mourinho. Mourinho cost chelsea the game yesterday. That starting line up and tactics was a disgrace. Then when Arsenal packed the bus, this was the time to bring in Moses (or smh..even cuadrado). Not because Moses or Cuadrado are amazing, but because when a team parks the bus, the best way to get around that is to stretch them through the sides and have players who will drag the defense to the byline! Man City does it with their wing backs and so does Barcelona. But since Chelsea have two wing backs who cant play like that, its important to have used the wingers who play like that. To use wingers who cut in---and ask them to cut in to a middle that was caked up, is a tactical blunder that is made by rookie coaches. Secondly, to remove Azpilicuta and put in Zouma?? for what??? what was Zouma going to do up there??? Mourinho needs to apologize for that rubbish he put out yesterday.

you think he got his tactics right?

personally I thought he was trying an experiment. Does it really matter? No, because who cares about the Charity Shield really? You need matches like this to hone your skills for the real season. Yesterday wasn't the start of the real season. The start of the Real Season is on August 8th vs Swansea City.

Someone give Eddie the job cause he clearly knows better than the man with two Champions League titles (+ 1UEFA Cup) aswell as league titles and cups in 4 different countries.

Just like I posted on TalkChelsea...

It matters because its Arsenal and their despicable fans! It matters because its a trophy, whether we like it or not, its a trophy.

But forget that it matters. It is worrying to see such a top coach lose the plot, tactically, like that. Simply elementary mistakes that seriously needs to be explained. I am sorry. I know the season has not started and i will be surprised if Arsenal was to best Chelsea in May, 2016, but that cannot excuse the horrid tactics deployed by a coach who we all believe is one of the best. Arsenal did not win because they were better, or because Chelsea played poorly, Arsenal won because Mourinho made several elementary tactical mistakes.

I dont need two CL and 8 titles to best Wenger. Its not that hard. If Ramires had a brain and if Hazard had scored his sitter, the story will be different.

true that brother, so don't get into a bother. Let the goonies believe they got one over us. Still we did the Double last Season & they can't really compare w/ that achievement. Personally this is how I feel about yesterday

yes seeing le voyeur being so glee like he just opened his Xmas presents & seeing Cech happy as all get did make me a lil' bitter, let's be real le arse wanted this match more. It's ok, cause I am sure The Chelsea Players will remember this match & when they play for real, in a real competition, it will be a different story. I am sure CFC will remind those bums of what their situation is...2nd Best in London!!!
