I think this is a bit of a keep calm moment. It probably confirms what many people on here are saying, that we do need to strengthen the squad to retain the title. It's been a bad week for the club, but nothing is unfixable.

The response to this is the key.

Do not think any Chelsea manager is safe if the poor form of these two games carry on thoughout the season. Roman does not tend to take failure well.

Being that's the case I hope he gets on the phone to his bank manager rather than sacking his club manager

Agreed, top post

Yeah me too oneclub, me too.

Jose has not been backed well for this transfer window.

He now has another full back option so if he keeps playing brana at right back is fully on him.

Rather than sack Jose and compensate him four years on his new contract, it'd be simpler to buy a couple of quality players instead and give him a fighting chance of kick-starting the season.

When Jose asked for a defender, midfielder and attacker, I wonder if he thought Rahman, Falcao and Traore were what the Board we're going to get him. No wonder he's in a sour mood.

Jose cant be safe about his job. If we lost more game we can take Klopp?

I hate fans that turn on the manager so quickly. Are you forgetting that we won the double only last season with Mourinho ? Yeah, our preparation has been sh*te, but i don't see how sacking a manager is going to fix that. We have the best manager in the business, what is bringing in Klopp going to achieve ? This guy had Dortmund in the relegation zone for half of the season last season.

Our team is so unbalanced. A right back at left back. No pace in defence. Only one genuine defensive midfielder, at least three number 10's and no out and out wide men. Bit of work to be done. And yes, that team are the champions, but we were dodgy enough at times in final months.

With no new signings the competition for places should be the same as last year, yes? Therefore our lack of signings cannot be the answer to the question - why have our top players not shown up for the first two weeks of the season?

But last year we did have new signings and there was competions for places, because we were still establishing a best 11.

We made the choice to start preseason later than everyone else, so presumably we thought we could roll over swansea and man city at about 80% fitness. It's naive at best, arrogance at worse.

It may only be two games and a few friendlies but this has been coming for some time in my eyes. We may well have won the league comfortably last year but after a very impressive first half of the season the second half was far from impressive. Sure, we remained strong and determined but rarely did I find myself at the end of a game thinking 'wow, that was great to watch and we looked impressive'.

I think a failure to refresh the squad with a couple of players good enough to threaten existing first eleven players places is already telling. And looking at the last six months or so, we are also crying out for another player in the Hazard class so that we can take the pressure off him to carry us week in week out. And given that we look rather dodgy at the point, that player has to be a striker. Pity Aguero isn't for sale as he's the exact player we're crying out for.

Got a nasty feeling Mourinhos losing the dressing room. ..if this keeps up he, ll be gone by mid sep.....utter sh*te!!!

And the Lord sayeth unto thee those who have no faith....can f##k right off and support some other sh*thole club!!!!!!..... :D

Yeah this is a big test for everyone at the club. Will the current players respond? Will roman back instead of sack? Will jose ride it out and pull it all back together?

It's going to be an interesting 6 weeks.

I back Mourinho 100%, he need to come through this if he wants to succeed at building a legacy, and I think he will.

After we lost 3 0 to West Brom didnt we go on to win the league? Early days.

We had already won the league before that match, why Jose gave some young players a chance.

I knew I should never have open f**king Facebook....I gave as good as I got though

Rival fans will always gloat when we lose. They don't like us, we do not care.
